Agreed. Same for me too, people are sure to make up stories and claim things were left behind so feel free to ignore these false rumours.
 Well i've just got back from my selection and I'm in a lot of pain <_<
(I'll inform you at a later date as to whether I OWN3D enough)
Glad you guys managed to have a good time without me  I'm glad i didn't go actually, means I have longer to save up to buy a decent rig for the next LAN and not hold you guy's up whilst waiting for my BF2 to load; takes around 5-10 mins to get onto a server now... (It's a long time in gaming!).

Nice to chat to you Brother and Suicidal, congrats on the BF2 tourney win fellas.
Cheers all for another fun LAN - Good fun as always and thanks for the crash course in Texas Hold 'Em ...
Also thanks to RON for giving up precious PC time so we could all havev a go at racing on his superb setup.
JB has forced me to secrecy so I cannot confirm nor deny that he packed his car, left the LAN and managed to leave his PC behind
Not to worry he had only gone 30-odd miles up the motorway before managing to get hold of him to tell him to come back :lmfao:
PEN
:byesad: until October
Hope the racing setup weathered the storm of all us aggressive drivers! Cheers Ron! :thumb:
Am I the only one that thought this lan went quicker than usual? I had a good time and was gratified by the interest shown in serious gaming. The kit survived the ham fisted among you with no ill effects.
I learnt one very important lesson. You don't have to guide a TV guided missile to it's destination. Top tip from a smelly TANGO!
Got home around 00.30 Dutchtime. No bodyscans this time by the airportsecurity and I could leave my shoes on.
A good LAN again and it was good to see a few new faces.
Karrde, Tobius and Delan and a couple of others, hope to see you guys again for the next time. Think Tobius enjoyed CZ quit a bit (and the stroopwafels).
Also nice to meet up with Thulsa and Whitey (was looking forward to that Eaglestuff as the warmup went pretty allright hehe). Another new face was [BoD]Alf-Fubar (I will post that picture , do NOT fall asleep behind the comp ;) ).
GG's as usual, loads of beers/absince and whiskey. Some (nasty) pr0n.
******************************************************************
1 Thing got mentioned at the LAN and that's finding good CZservers. I'd say if we all play a bit more on our own publicserver and work from there we'd be fine as there seemed to be alot interest for it (especially from the new players).
So come on guys, play CZ, play @ -=[dMw]=-.
Guys, just wanted to say thank-you from Big-Paddy and myself for a great weekend.
Had some excellent games - but its the laughs that make it such a memorable weekend and theres some funny as hell characters there - Ninja F***** Freak, Fubar, the list goes on biggrin.gif
Thanks to everyone involved in organising it too, great job fellas.
Fuber - mate you need some work on those chat up lines bud bleh.gif
Good to chat to everyone. Definitely see you at the next one and hopefully see some of you guys on the OBC server again - ya know your always welcome.
Thanks again!
Special mention to Ron for giving up his pc all weekend, don't think I could have done that - and what a setup!
Thanks to all who helped organize the kit and admining the games (OB).
I definately had a good time and I think most people did as well. Thanks to Pen for all of his had work and definate thanks to Doorman for his suberb racing setup..
Until we meet again...
NF
great lan.
only problem when I got home for me was that I snapped my wireless broadband arial trying to put it back on the computer!!!!!!!!
I have to go and buy another one today now!
Great LAN, good to see everyone again.
Extra thanks to everyone that helped me through Uldaman. :)
Got home at midnight.
Big thanks to Ron for letting me use his gear and taking the time to pick me up and drive me back to the airport. Also thanks for lending me USB-hubs (GhostMjr) and IDE-USB2 HDD stuff (Lib.. I think ;) ) Duvel and DA, thanks for helping out with CZ and stuff!
CZ-wise, as I also talked to Duvel about in the airport, it was great to be there in person to learn the game. Think I got the basics... apart from who to kill and when only to do knife  I will be checking out CZ wednesdays.
What great fun! :D It has to go really wrong for me not to be there in October :)
Glad you all had a good time, totally gutted I could not make it....... I been doing a sheepy and been spending my money before I get it of late.....
Still I have a plan... I'm getting my youngest out of nappies so I'll have money to come to the next lan...... house will be covered in shit but hey got to get my priorities right.

How about cloth nappies? Or are they not made anymore? You could wash them couldn't you and save money that way :P
Well stryker looks like someone is offering to wash all the cloth nappies for you ;)
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT :roflmao:

Terry towels are still around but dude, seriously, would you want you to be scraping the solids off the nappies, boiling them and recycling them? :eyebrow:
It's bad enough when you have to change a disposable !

There's always this option (http://www.recyclenow.com/at_home/real_nappies.html), i.e. the laundry service bit.
Don't have kids myself (yet, but it's bound to happen), but this is the sort of thing the missus brings up in her EcoWarrior moments.
Whether it'd actually work in practice... well there's a question... ;)

In my parenting day (parenting, what the...is 'parenting'?) nappy liners were the way to go. Terry towel nappy lined with a strong but porous paper liner. No scraping off solids, just gather the corners together and into the loo with it. Disdopable nappies are a disgraceful waste of *stuff*
Jeez that was a loooong time ago. :(

This not just about nappies! This is about how having babies is ruining the planet. Pay attention 007.
