I had a great time on this map tonight, but then I had something like a 19-2 score at one point. Unfortunately, good score though it was, it was a bit too DM for me - the map didn't play as well as I had hoped. I'll reserve judgement on it until I've played it a few more times this week, but initial signs were not brilliant for me.

Potential to be a VERY 1 sided map if more than half the T's attempt to camp the helicopter place.
Yep it's a turkey shoot for the T's. I tried going on the prowl and got shot up a fair bit, so stuck with camping the chopper.
An escape map with one escape point that doubles as the T spawn is a recipe for campy distaster. It's early in the week yet but I don't think this ones going to work.
I enjoyed this map, I played both sides and its definately a lot harder for the cts, so a bias towards them would have to be played I think. Also some careful thinking of the boundries as there are too many places for the Ts to sit and pick off the cts at leisure at the moment.
I thought it was brilliant! I especially like the bit where I walked round a corner, any corner, and got whacked by TeaLeaf! Bring it on!
this is a nice map for a change, and a bit of a laugh, especially if u have pld hunted in tfc
It was a laugh and a change from the norm, but what will we think in a months time. Unless there are some radical map boundaries everything is going to happen around the helcopter pad and along the main route to the pad. As a new map it was fun, I just don't think there's much long play value and certainly limited PCS play

if its different enough maybe its worth it for the novalty factor? I know I wish we had the rats maps again :-)
that reminds me, we ought to arrange a rats map weekend again, perhaps on baldric?
i remember this map from halflife its the 1 with the spaceship at the start of the level !. not imho a great pcs map very very 1 sided "lets all camp the copter, you cover ramp, you cover ikkle door".....voila !
generally i'm not a fan of VIP maps, they need to be a bit spesh and i find this 1 a bit ordinary.

Fist time Iv'e played this map (CT) and we only managed to get the VP out twice I think that just about sums it up. 3 or 4 T's around the Helo pad more or less ends it unless u have sufficient CT's to do a charge of the Light Brigade at the end to cover the VP's escape.

only played as t but still not a fan, restricted on weapons and like fb said cover the 2 area's and thats about your lot .........could potentially become a 2 v 10 turkey shoot map

The only real fun comes when T's elect to take the fight to the CT's along the main passage. If they camp the pad, keep their heads down until the CT's break for the pad and are reasonably quick and accurate when firing, the CT's don't stand a chance.
I fear this map just doesn't suit PCS play. In fact a rule deamnding that T's leave the pad and go hunting CT's, ala' deathmath mode, would probably improve the game play !
This was an incredibly disappointing experience last night - I was a CT and you just knew what was gonna happen each time.
T camps around boxes to cover little door, and in warehouse to cover the other two routes. Surprise, surprise - that got pretty tedious pretty quick. It was carnage, and ended up about 10-2 to the Ts.
If you're gonna do a VIP mission then the only one that ever played well under PCS was tundra IMHO.
A valiant try at variety, but unless you impose team balancing as standard in at least a ratio of 2 CTs to every T then it aint gonna work.
I played this again as T last night and 3 Ts managed to control a CT squad of 8 for most rounds. I know that it was highly touted by some regulars, but to be honest I think that this map is ALWAYS going to be a duck shoot for the Ts. It will not be getting my vote........

The map is too big ...and only one escape point makes it a bit bland for both T and CT
Sorry fellas but I have a general dislike for VIP type maps
So i,m putting the boot into this one along with the other VIP map
As i,m still to be persueded otherwise.

I'm with the nays on this as well its just too biased towards the ts to make for decent PCS play
It is one sided but if you are a ct you can quite easily win by sniping off the t's or just smoke em a lot and run towars the exit that seems to work well and the cts usually win just remeber to buy smoke.
Played T last night and confirmed what most players are saying T's camped around the Helo pad control the game. Also with larger teams the T's can get players into the alleyway approaching the Helo pad giving them an even greater advantage. There doesn't appear to be an easy way out of this.
Seemed a bit too easy for T. Although CT got in some good rounds with some good use of smoke and rushes to heli, after T got used to that they became easy pickings. First time on map tho and only played as T spent a few rounds camping heli and then started exploring other routes seemed to be that any way CT's went they met T. Much better if T din't spawn by heli.
This one's fun as T - you can pretty much cover the whole pad with 1 or 2 T's with rifles and you get to do a lot of scouting :D Unfortunately it sucks as CT :P If it had a 3rd, closer route of attack and a 2nd rescue point it might be a playable map :?
