So there I was, minding my own business at the gym this evening, attempting to get fit. There's a call over the tannoy.
"Would the owner of a blue Honda, etc, etc. Please come to the reception."
Can't have left my lights on thinks I. The car can't have been nicked as she's just read out the reg. And then I start to get a feeling of dread. :(
Arrive in reception to find a rather sheepish looking young girl, who proceeds to ask me outside. Where I find the dozy mare has done:
this (http://www.amethyst.plus.com/Crunch_1.JPG), this (http://www.amethyst.plus.com/Crunch_2.JPG), and this (http://www.amethyst.plus.com/Crunch_3.JPG)
whilst attempting to park next to me.
At least she's insured and admitted full liability there and then. Although I'm pretty livid, I also respect her for having the integrity to come inside and own up.
My insurer's have told me to go ahead and get an estimate at a Honda dealer. At least it's a no-brainer for them to decide where the blame lies.
I've only had the thing a month!!! :frusty:
EDIT: Fixed URLs
URL not found! But i'm sure the damage is infuriating...
How did she do all three? Did she smash, reverse, smash, reverse, smash then park?
Fair play to her for owning up.
Hope you get it sorted soon mate :(
can you get a sh*g out of it?
try to turn a negative into a positive :P
Benny...advise :P

If I were single mate, and the missus hadn't been with me, I'm sure the thought would've crossed my mind. She was a bit young though. Think she'd only just passed her driving test.
Jeez. I hope Tracy doesn't read this...
eye for an eye I say.
You could have scraped your pride and joy up and down her thighs before banging into her repeatedly.

Gotta give her full credit for putting her hands up to it. That said - she does sound like a complete muppet.
Forget the pics of the car - did you manage to take any of her ? :D :D
Sorry all the same mate

EH? EH?
Woman and parking...
The other day my bosses wife drops by looking sad, she hit a light...
GL with getting the money and so back for your car to be sorted.
And yeah, where's her picture... :dribble:
thats not to bad at least its still going to be fully working / drivable and you can still drive it untill its fixed
Not to put a damper on things but if this accident occured in the car park then this could be considered private property and her insurance company may refuse to pay. :( In which case you may be stuck trying to claim the money off her. :ranting:
Aw dang. Sorry to see that mate :( I wonder how much space she had to 'attempt' parking... Yeah, nice to see that she had the guts to go and get you.
Benny, you just saved my day 8)
Well, my fiancee just made the 2nd dent in her car in 4 months when trying to park on top of some boulders. Continue like that and it would be hard to tell what make and model... ehm, yeah, hope she does not read here
Unlucky mate, but no-one was hurt and she's admitted liability - sure a bit of a pain for you but hey on the brightside you get BRAND spanking new panels :D
Unlucky.

I did consider that Sn00ks, however as I'm a member of the gym at the local leisure centre, the car park is metered and operated by the local council. A municipal car park can't be considered private property surely?
And as to all you lot requesting pics of said girlie, I didn't have my camera or mobile on me at the time, and the damage was photographed at home.
If it's wimmen you want, get youselves outside! It's a lovely summery day out there and the totty should be wall to wall. ;)
um....I'll have the pictures. I work in Reading.
its days like this i wish i work some where need a park/open green area in a city.
unfortuantly being stuck on an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere meens that there is very little totty around.
I on the otehr hand took the day off lectures and sat in the park with "The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by..."
Bloody brilliant day...
Even listening to an entire radiohead album - I still remained cheerful!
