Its a leap up from what you've already got.
Depends on what he is asking for them.....£160 should be about right in the second hand market....and you should look to get circa £70 or upwards for your 2800 on the Bay to help fund the purchase as the XP chips are selling particularly well at the moment......new Athlon 3200's are being sold for £170!!
As Gorion is in Malta I'm not sure £ will be accepted!
The upgrade will do a fair bit for your system, but as for price it's difficult to tell as I don't know Maltese prices :(
TL.
he wants 70lm for the cpu 60 for the mobo and 45 for the psu
thats 175 lm >278Gp hmm seems a bit pricey
forget this.. he is asking lm120+ for the cpu alone now.. and with 121 i can buy a 64bit 3700 new O.o
Go for the 3700....superb clockers particularly if they are the San Diego chips, although if my sums are right you will be paying somewhere near £180 for it.....much too pricey!!
Might pay you to get friendly with the British troops (not too friendly of course! :) ) as they can buy pc parts from the UK at discounted prices or use eBay with someone who will ship worldwide for a reasonable amount. Your Athlon 2800 will fetch a good price on eBay.
