Is it just me, or are adverts on TV that show how colourful the new TV's are a waste of time or what?
If you're watching an advert and saying "ooh yes thats so much better than the colours mine can do" then you're a grade 1 idiot. You are watching those vibrant colours on your TV so think about it.
Also it works both ways, someone sat with a set top ariel and an old valve TV is going to be saying, "well thats just as shite as the colours on my current TV".
What is the point of comparative audio/visual adverts on TV.
Aaarrggghhh!
:frusty:
Deep breaths... calm... calm.... aaahhhh.
Oh yeah, I like the TANGO (not swearing) advert.
:D

I think thats true with the new Sky HD ads, although it does make me curious to how those pictures would look on HD.
As for the Bravia Ad, thats one well executed piece of Art, mesmerising and well known. How many times do you think people have said "have you seen that advert with the bouncy balls?"
Hell it's worked for me i know the bouncy ball ad is for Sony Bravia HD TVs.

I remember the ball advert...but I thought it was for VW Octavia
no...honestly
Being a Moggy owner, I'm particularly tickled by this post
Have you noticed how they 'up' the volume on the backing track to make it sound as if you are missing out on the experience as well.
I've been ranting about the Sky HD adds as well, to people that still listen to me anyway and thats not many people.

Oh God - I spent ages making sure that this was all correct before I posted this. God I must ahve been wrecked.
Jose is on tour round the UK at the moment - well it might have just about finished by now, I saw one of the first gigs at the end of April - still worth a look though...
