Title: Dreamwalker Raiment
Post by: Bob on May 17, 2006, 08:57:18 PM
I did a quick calculation on the stats on the new Dreamwalker Raiment (http://wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/armorsets/index.html) (no guarantee for any incorrect numbers):

Armor: 1456
Stamina: 174
Intellect: 205
Spirit: 130
+healing: 457
mana/5sec: 35

Can't say anyting else than ME LIKE :dribble:

It didn't say anything about resistances at that page atm, but I assume that's something the just haven't added yet.

Yeah, for once they've made a druid armor set that doesn't have a head piece with close associations to any kind of animal or vegetation :roflmao:

Lol, Vore won the roll for the Ony hide backpack, but instead of saying something normal like "YES!" or "woohoo!" he said "HAVE IT!" making Vargen think he meant he already had one, and ignored his roll :P

It's going to be good with some time off (or time off... I'm starting to work, but that's more relaxing that studying at least

go do the 225-300 FA quest, that the only time some1 will actualy say doctor to you  :narnar:  (odd quest that one, come in whipe blood and grime off you and the guy starts talking to you w/ something like the revered doctor, helper of life etc......, i only help death most the time)

Apparently the set is quest reward like the AQ stuff. Here are the mats needed in addition to the item that drops from naxx;

Druid set
6 Mooncloth
36 Cured Rugged Hides
106 Wartorn Leather Scraps
7 Nexus Crystals
1 Arcane Crystal

Damn, really, Blizzard hates Locks!!! what a crap of set!!!!!!! Mages set looks awesom, why those the TANGO locks look like star wars desert crawlers??? this is shit!

Take a look to the stats:

Armor: 764
Stmina: 224
Intellect: 155
+DMG: 292
+6% critical
+4% chance of hit with spells

¿155 intellect? damn....locks eat mana in a huge way...only 155 TANGOing intellect???? what a crap...

I'll swap you the extra 3,000 HP you have for the extra 13 Int that Mages get.

Deal?

Check the stamina mate :) Lifetap = locks best friend :)) 292+dmg is rather decent also, so it aint too bad, i wont bother getting it anyways.

Yeah, i know life tap rules, but i also know that since clothies armor sucks, at least a little more of +int will be apreciated, even as compensation for making a TANGOing horrible bad looking set!!! Damn!!! the design is awful!!!! what a crap!!! They seriously must reconsider a re-design of the lock set!

Should be on the official forums I think. You need the armor thing drops, and some epic quest item.
You then need the mats I mentioned and abd the item to finish the quest and get the set.

Yeah, it is nice :dribble:

It's only those blue glowing "spike" thingies at the shoulders I think is a bit misplaced...
And it also looks like they aren't gonna ad any resistance to the set items either, which I don't like too much :(

But if you look at all the other stats and bonuses, that just rock :D

You can see it here, but the shiny stuff is still a bit crude in my model viewer. Hoping it will be fixed in the next version.

That one would look good on a male aswell, whereas the Priest sets are no doubt designed for females. A human male looks ridiculous in it, dont even mention a Dwarf
