Since everyone is commenting all over the place; let me just take a second to say.

w00t I finished my new signature  :D

I love to play around with photoshop, though I am still in the early learning phase. (Like you ever get past it)

Not that I should brag of being good with colors and design and stuff, but I must say:

Are you color blind???

That green-ish, turquoise-ish, blue-ish (or whatever it is :blink: ) color you use is just  :crazy:

The font took me a while to find and pick the "right" one, and the background of the text took some thinking.

You could do the background first and then cut out your char and put it on a new layer. Then it wouldn't all be this turquoise-mass.

I would use a background like this...I don't think it looks as neonish because of the slightly darker curls.

That is nice Odesa, but I liked the effect the moonwell had. You can see parts of my char model fading into the blue light. But I will agree it is abit too intense.

Hmmm I am no big maker of pics. But as some others have made new signatures, I had to make 1 my self.

Way too big, and that also goes for Sinap's and Gorion's too if you ask me...

I don't know if it's posted on this forum, but on our old form there was some guidelines to how big a signature max should be, and I thinkg people should try to stick to that.  Vargen's is about the right size (could have been wider without ruining it though) :)

Perhaps somebody can find those guidelines for signatures and post 'em here? or in a sticky or something?

Deadly, is it smaller at all?  It seems just as huge.  Try cutting the pixel height by about half, that would be acceptable.

I actually didn't notice any change the first time either.  Reason was probably that the image file still resided in the browser's cache :)

I'm too lazy to make a sig, probably because if I did make one, I would do it from scratch, i.e. drawing the character myself. I started this (made me miss invites for BWL, oops) and after several attempts I have a small problem with my beard :P

Well I tried to get the shadowform effect on the letters with the glowing edges and inner shadow. Might have been cooler if I did a semi transparant flame effect on top in blue, but it would be even harder to read.

I kinda suck at photoshop. But a good way of getting BG`s Vargen. is if you take the pen tool, that you click once for setting a marker. and draw lines out from that. ( I cant remember the damn thing!) And just play around with that . Then you go to filters & layers and play around there. IM food poisoned atm , so my mind wont do much good :/

And about the droprate, it's not what I would called balanced: first you have 1 drop in a period of 5 months, and than suddenly 4 in the last 1 month...  It looks like perhaps all those GM tickets you made payed out :tongue:
