did not fix this little problem. help !!!!!!!!!
Swiss, have you checked your BIOS settings? I had a small problemette whereby I tried to over-clock my PC and it all went pants. When I finally got it working it was running really pants. I checked my BIOS and found that the memory was running too slow and the clock speed on the CPU was too slow. When I set them right it changed my CPU from 0.9 GHz to 1.8Ghz, which was nice. :D

Yeah if the machine has been unable to boot successfully then it might revert to a standard configuration - and this configuration can leave your CPU at a wrong setting. Normally all you have to do is enter the bios, and chose save setting and restart.
Ãf not, you could try some cpu setup, but start with that.
Many thanks for all the help guys it was in the bios bit the "small problemette" it now sort but i am still having problems with me bf2 patches if some body could type a list on here to show which ones i need in order it would be great ta .

That's 3! Go to DORIS's link and download the full 438mb patch.(click on the bit that sats 'EA GAMES') Uninstall everything you've done so far and start again. Put your dvd in the dvd player and say 'yes' to everything. When that has finished, click on the 1.3patch.exe (the one you downloaded) and once again say 'yes' to everything. You will now be patched to 1.3. There, that wasn't difficult was it? :nevermind:
