The following ppl have applied for the role of class leader (and maybe they can lead raids in case of deadly's abcence).
Hunters: Greatdanes
Mages: Deadlyspirit
Paladins: Deadalus, Mazii, Buford
Rogues: Nefrion, Asmoden
Warlock: Sazgul
Priest: Sebas
Druid: Octain, Oshun
Warrior: Paximperialy, Siffredi
Raidleader: Deadlyspirit
I think the best course of action is to add to the marshal rank slowly (as in one at a time) and take some time to build up to full ocupancy.
All respect to Deadlyspirit, but we are a lot of officers to lead RG1, and he's the "only" one to lead RG2 besides the help from the officers. There should be some sort of backup and help for him.
Hence the class leaders, if you where to translate this to RG1 then TL is our raidleader and all of us are class lead. But in case something happens (as in TL helping RG2, or beeing abcent) one of us can step up and take over. From class leaders we would hope that one would step up for DKP (as kreuz does for RG1) and ML (as vargen).
Ok then, but we need to make some of the others lead the raid sometime to make them get the experience then
Well in order to do that we would need to pick one first right ;) Remember that most of us didnt lead a single raid untill we where quite far in with talking to NG about setting RG2 up. I think i led the first bit of raid about 3 weeks before we actualy started w/ RG2, and that was after raiding for ages.

From the list I woud try get a hand in on oshun, sazgul and siffredi.
I know that siffredi atleast dont have a problem with doing the ML.
But yes take them out 1 by 1
BTW alhana dont play anymore so he is out of the picture.
MT doing ML is not the best idea as if your speeding up youll be pulling while some1 else is doing the loot. In rg1 by the time Luci loot is handed out we are nearly at magmadar normaly.
As for the first class leader to be promoted i think sazgul would make a nice addition
yeah you are probely right about the ML thing and yes I see both siffredi and sazgul as the right ones in CL job
We might wanna remove Nefrion again - His PC is pretty much scrap atm, and is currently planning to be afk a while.
Too bad tho, he's a good player. But think he lacks the funds for new pc right now.
For the next two id like to see Mazii and Siffredi, there both good players and from what i can see from marduk mazii really takes control of the paladins in the raid and organizing buffs and so on in paladins channel. (I was reading it for a while last nite when ZG was a bit slow :P)

Also as I see it, Mazii is more the quite type, like me (we only talk when needed) :P and Siffredi is the dominate type (ergo good RL) :D

I think I would want to find out how active all the applicants are on TS first (as before). They need to be active on TS before anything else imo, otherwise they can't do the job they are appointed to do.
Once the next batch are appointed though I would like to run the week after without any RG1 Officers in the RG2 raid to see how it goes. All we need to do is make sure RG2 can handle it's own DKP.

Well, of RG1 (during raid) the only TS active officers are you, me, ragnarh and vargen a bit.
Padding, tanales and kreuz dont use thier mics much, Pent dont have one.

I would say that all bar Kreuz & Pent use their mics regularly. And that's all that's needed, a group of people willing to use TS. RG1 has enough active TS users to make it work. RG2 needs that too otherwise the night becomes a monologue.
On a sife note, I would actively encourage all to make the RG2 raid night more *fun*. Get some humour in there. It's a fine line to tread, but the raid group needs to use TS to develop it's own personality - at the moment they just sit back and await instructions. I think a goal for RG2 shoudl be to develop its own characters and leaders and for them to be active on TS, not just Deadly.

Indeed, no fun on Teamspeak is a real party killer. Its important to have focus on the bosses tho ;)
I think RG2 is comming along with the TS issue. Last MC raid (thursday) was the most active TS raid RG2 has ever had imo.
Its nice to hear ppl beeing more active, at time I had a hard time announcing loot on now and then TS, so had to change to /rs :D
- So no worries, ppl will come along. Siffredi speaks alot, Mazii is starting to participate more (even tho they are not Marshall yet). Greatdanes dosent speak the best english, but he does a great job. And ill sure as h*** also come along :D

As Sazgul wright it, I do not speak the best english :whistle: that's why I do all instruktion in wrighting in the hunters channel but I will try to do better in the future.(Tanales could see that in last Thursdays raid).
But when alot of people do speak at the same time I back off maybe that's wrong but that's my personality :blush: because I are a kind of embarrassed over my bad english.
But what is it you want on TS - small talk between the boss fights or class leaders give they instruktion on TS?
I think if it is small talk we will see that soon or later when people get to known one another(I think there are a better expression for that), so just let time do the job about that.

In the matter of promoting Mazii and Siffredi I vote for at they get promote before this weeks RG2 raid on Thursday or real soon after(Siffredi are in my opinion allready start behaving as one and some times as raidleader).
Well GD, you're english is great, everyone understands what you say, sometimes, simple english is way better than advanced :)
So no need to practice, you get practice every raid day!
I think what Officers wants is more small talk, and we are getting there, just see yesterday, think we had "a lot" (compared to earlier) of talk there.
This said, respect too all ML. This job can be stressfull at times. :D - Like when 20+ ppl wants the Head of Ony, and at the same time wants you to talk to them on TS, AND reply in /w.

Yep, more banter I think is needed. Last run I was on TS was very quiet (this is the same as was reported by other RG1 Officers when in the previous RG2 runs). If TS is *only* for instructions then it is boring (but instructions via TS are nice and quick). We need to make sure people have fun too and the small talk and banter is what is needed to help develop the identity of RG2. When we reach a boss fight then by all means reign them in, ask for a bit more focus and quiet on TS, but let's not cut their nuts off! ;)
RG1 still maintains a fair degree of banter even during boss fights (like Tuesday's Razegore > Chromaggus clearance) so the entertainment factor was there the whoel run. It can be a serious distraction too, but then that's what the RL/Marshall's role is about, knowing when to ask for a bit more hush, and a little more focus. Difficult balance to find, but find it you must.

And GD what goes your english, dont worry my english sucked big time aswell before I really started to talk on TS. Not saided that my english is great now, but sure it has improved.

To the TS issue regarding class leaders to speak on TS; I do speak on TS - when it's necessary. It's much easier to talk with your class in the class channel, as you don't need to interrupt other people on TS.
I can do everything you would like me to do. Queue, ML, DKP - anything :)

Yes i would like to say ty too for the promotion to CL. I have read this entire thread, and ppl say im the more dominant than the passive silent type are problerly correct... :D I am not afraid of speaking on TS, and are ofc also rdy to go for RL duties when needed. I have knowledge of any tactics in the MC (i think :)) Nothing in BWL yet, but ofc will get this info when its needed. I know how to do ML, and could proberly also do DKP, but as stated in earlier posts its not good to have MT doing this cause yes it will slow down clearance of trashmobs. Ofc i can do it if noone else is available...
I think more fun will come in time. Ppl like Spi and other starting to participate more actively on TS, and other ppl will do the same in time. ppl just need to get a "farm" rutine in MC, so they can play well and Banter talk at the same time.
Looking forward to many awesome runs in MC and later on BWL!
BTW: Perhaps a good idea within a few weeks that we try out letting other subs(me :D) for RL try to lead the raid. Ofc it has to be the night where we down Ragnaros ;)

Nope, the general rule is that you do not hold a slot open for anyone. Even Vargen has found himself in the RG1 queue from time to time! The only exception might have been where we know the person is en route and will be there imminently - e.g. we held recently a slot for Ragnarh whose internet connection failed and he had to drive to Vargen's and set up in his front room.
