This is work in progress, but if you have something to add then please post it.  We'll edit in the good suggestions and delete off-topic stuff.  Keep it on track please.

Each Class should have a predetermined number of specific pots as a minimum.  The plan will be to use these pots throughout the run.  Here's what we have come up with so far.  We know it's a lot of cash, but the recipes for these are all within Guild and the rest are easy to get, so let's go get our stuff together and make this one hell of a run!

Other Info
Loot - We will use Group Loot for this MC run.  All raid members will pass on all items unless they Need an epic.  We recognise that this may not send the phat loot to the highest DKP person, but that's a problem we'll just have to live with on this run.  If you roll Need then normal DKP deductions will be made from the DKP list.  We will appoint someone to roll Greed on all items so that anything not wanted gets DE'd.

OOC Rezzer - we will have an OOC rezzer for the non-boos fight bits of the run.  We stop for no-one.

Summoning - if you are daft enough to die where we cannot rez you then run back into the instance and we will summon at next available opportunity.  We will designate a specific Lock to this role.

Rune Dousing - We will appoint specific people to douse a specific rune.

MA/Targets/MTs - We will assign a list of predetermined targets, pulling hunters, bubble pull pallies and MA's etc so as to minimise delays when targetting.

Tactics Specifics:  
AOE Sulfuron adds
Tank Geddon at the tunnel entrance, not Garr's room.
Tank Shazzrah in open near tunnel entrance.
Leftside pull for Golemagg (ignore right side adds)

We'll develop the list further as time goes on.

All mana users should bring some Mageblood Potions (http://thottbot.com/?i=37142).

Lunares and I can make them - possible more can that I don't know of.

Some notes to some people:

- Opticalrush, please respec arms - fury,
- Opticalrush, Umbra, bring also: 10x Elixer of Giants - 10x Elixer of the Mongoose - R.O.I.D.S, Scorpoc Assey, and Long Joice Cocktail.
- Ragnarh, Gorion, get 3x Bijou from the guildbank and go get Elixer of Zanza for 50 stam and spirit if you are revered.

- Vargen, respec moonkin for the 3% crit. ;)

- All hunters get trueshot

Locks could also bring an Flask of Sup. power Greater Arcane Elixir/Arcane Elixir , and pretty much everything a mage needs.

If im online, and i cant attend i can prob. make alot of healthstones to help out, i still have a "need" to help you guys with raiding even though i cant :/

well i already have 35 healt pots 20 mana pots 10 greater dream 5 greater arcane 5 shadow power 5mageblood and 1 flask of powa i think i've done w/ pots ^^

I had alot of pots, but sold 'em :/ Greater arcane, some flasks etc. needed moeny :/ But padding, sending thoose mentioned pots to you, just send me a mail incase i forget it :b

please note that i will roll on any DPS plate that might drop during this run
if you do not want this to happen on certain items i would certainly like to see a list of items b4 the run and not after the Marduk recieves item.....

if everybody is going to bring their own pots, what will happen to those i send to guildbank ?

acording to what i wrote down it was:
40 mongoose
10 mageblood
35 greater dreamless sleep
35 giants
15 trollsblood

just wondering what your plans with these were, i spend a fair couple of hours getting the mats for those and would either like to see them used for speedrun or returned to me so i can find something else to do with them

before talking about requred pots we should talk about the possibility we won't be able to raid, 19 ppl signed so far and that's 19h before the raid
we'll do a 20 men MC if we continue like this :P

TL for a paladin a Mageblood potions is also a good mana regen, which basicaly makes it usefull to all most every class.

Just my 2 euro cents.

Good luck on the run guys.... I know you did it on 2h 20min orso (and now the posts will follow about the precise time) and I think you can bring it down to under the 2h....

The movies I saw was like 1h and xx minutes.... (I leave that open for the competiton factor).

Just saw the writing of Mazii....soz bout that.

They will be used for the speed run, as I guarantee not everyone will have turned up with a full pots list.  When the lis tof people doing the run is known then I can either hand them out to specific people (your choice) or pass them back to you to hand out.  Your call.  At the moment I assumed all I was providing was bag space.

Not exactly, it's my way of not punishing the ones who did the work and bought the required pots by forcing them to work with TANGO-sucking TANGOholes who didn't.

Which is why I mentioned that he could decide to give them out to whomever he wants.

yeh must agree with neff here, rewarding those who cant... or wont

but if you asumed all you did was provide bag space then i guess i need to thank you for that :)
wouldnt really like to see pots beeing hand out to those who are to lazy to grind for themself or are to cheap to buy some ( just as easy to grind for cash as it is to grind for herbs)

but ill find you IG and im sure we can figure something out

Will there be a minimum fire res value? or are we mostly going all out DPS?

I wont respec to shadow mastery, I will keep my fire damage for fast killing the maggy mini core hound dogs with hellfire xD (350 dps per dog)

Are we meeting at gryphon rider in SW for onyxia buff? (thanks neb)

If someone helps me, I can can make STR+20 wellfed from the sandworm meat in silithus! So send me sandworm meat if you can't make it yourself!

TL.. could you speak to me about getting some mats together for repair bots if we need em? Although im pretty sure we wont xD

Who can I send mats to, to make brilliant wiz oil?

I am RG2 tho, I will need a few days to get things sorted, so If you need me, I will probably be ready by Thursday!

There will be a repairbot available (I suspect Dajo will have it or we'll bring one from bank).

Important Point: if not enough people sign up for the speed run then it will nto happen.

Second Important Point:  We will be taking the best specced and experienced group into that run.  That may well make it predominantly an RG1 member run.

When people have clicked the link and signed up then we'll put a date in the diary.

You should be able to sign up.  There will always be a short delay whilst your application on the site is manually approved, but then you should be able to log in and join the raid.

I really dont think RG2 players should sign up for this event, it will only get you saved to the instance, and we still need the players in MC to get Ragnaros down again.

The raid was locked due to the date of raid beeing passed, its now set at 1 jan 07 so sign ups should once again be possible.
