Hello,
As the above says, every time I try to log in I get the above message. Please can someone explain what I'm doing wrong?
The last time this happened the track in question was Zolder, but I've been driving Zolder offline ok, so what gives?
Thanks
Stuart
i had that as well, make sure its the latest version, and that in the game data/locations folder open zolder and make sure there is about 10ish files there, if there is another sub folder called zolder and no other files copy its content into the main zolder folder...
if you get my drift

Thanks for that, but my install is quite standard ( version 1.1 ) with no mods etc.
Yes, Zolder has about ten files with no other structure below.
This happened with Zolder last time and Donnington before that; on both ocassions I went onto the tracks offline just to check, because I thought it was a track I had not unlocked?
Thanks
Stuart
you will find the server your trying to get onto may be saying Zolder but it's NOT actually running Zolder. GTL online somethimes messes up the track name IF you havn't got the actuall track being used installed only way to get round this is install all addon tracks and even then BUT not as much you will get the odd 'Track not installed' if the versions are wrong 8) basically it's part of the bad net codeing done for GTL the game was never intended to have indipendant addons, the makers tried to stop all addons at the beginning hence all the files being encripted in GTL
This adds weight to the argument for a sticky post with a list of the maps you would need to succesfully join the server. At present, GTL doesn't tell you which map you really need. If there was a single post with a list of required tracks and it was kept up to date then we could install ALL those tracks and avoid the "you cannot connect problem". At present, track requirements are spread over numerous posts.
Please note this is not a whinge just a suggestion that might make it easier for people to join the server :D

I know, however, if anything changes or another track is chosen to suit the numbers then people need to know what tracks to have installed.
Look, I'll create it if you want - I honestly believe that it will be beneficial. I take it that a list of tracks from the server will suffice?

Keep an eye on THIS THREAD (http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=14490&hl=) It's updated every day (unless I'm too sloshed to remember, in which case refer back to the previous night)
look forward to seeing you on the server. Don't forget Teamspeak either. If you're shy just say hello and listen. (I have some great jokes!)
Phew! I've been doing some very adminy things this afternoon. The Tracks for tonight thread has been cleared out of posts and they have been moved to a new thread entitled: Last night's racing. Alles in ordnung. Ve haf veys off making zings tidy, no?
