I've succumbed to the pressure, caved in and bought this game. Should be arriving tomorrow.
Still working on a wheel - not sure what one etc as yet.
I know there's a post somewhere which tells me what I need to do to join you guys trackside, but I can't find it.
Any pointers please?
See ya in the pits

I had the game delivered whilst I way away (business 8) ) in Canada last week. My wheel's been retrieved from the loft and I completed a short couple of sessions, winning the Mini Cooper event.
Ventrilo connects but I haven't tried it in-game with PTT from a contoller button (hopefully not also bound to the clutch or downshift).
I think all maps are installed as per the daily list, patched to 1.11 (or whatever) too.
Anything else?
Can't find the key to turn on the undercar neons though.
more fun to have it on level detect - that way everyone gets to hear everyone else swearing as they go off the track, or having conversations with people at home :)
Maybe try this post

So. Are we gonna see a bunch of new contenders tonight then? :D
With Doggers fast approaching 'mediocre' we could do with some 'good efforters'.;)
Got classes to teach :( If you are still online at 10 PM I might drop by :)

I knew, deep down inside, that with that sharp intellect you would get round to it. Well done.

You are not alone Pen. I bought two copies of it (summer sale £6.50 each) so I will try it out as soon as possible. The second copy is for a friend of mine that is a racing freak ... played mostly on PS2 though.
Time to dust off the Logitech wheel me thinks.
