Earlier today the rack in which the dMw servers (Web/Forum/Teamspeak/Ventrillo/BF2/CS) are housed had a power failure. For reasons as yet unknown the UPS did not protect the servers once the power failed. All servers are now back running.
However, it would appear that at least some of todays forum posts were corrupted by the unexpected power outage. Consequently, if you made a post today and you can't find it now you are not going mad. If you posted anything important today or sent any important PMs then please check that they are OK otherwise you should repost/resend.
dMw would like to apologise for this outage and we promise to put 50p in the meter in good time in future ;)

i had noticed this, and you might want to put a quid in next time so you dont push it to the egde all the time :P cheers for the info :)

uh oh, then we can expect the power to go down again huh? or might explain why the UPS isnt working, its prob an empty black cardboard box w/ delivered by UPS

No problems but checking the "View new replies"section gave me an error several times if I was checking the right link.
Yup, I had problems getting to the DMW website too.
Nope, there was nothing wrong with any of the servers at all. I guess it must have been a routing issue.
If this happens again it'd be really useful if you can do a tracert to the servers for diagnostic purposes. That way we can see if it's a problem with your isp, the co-lo company or an intermediate route.
