We agreed:
- warn RG1 slackers
- when response in then raise the attendance bar (final height to be discussed)
- those unable to meet attendance requirement politely removed from RG1
- make discrete exemptions for 'job shares'
- recruit direct to RG1
- agree minimum spec requirements for entry into RG1
- announce we not planning to recruit from RG2 to keep RG2 intact and to get continuity
- announce raid break over the SoG Meet week
- discuss with Deadlyspirit the possibility of an RG2 minimum attendance standard
- announce a halt to raiding during the SoG Meet week
I'm feeling that I forgot something - but I cannot remember what. Remind me and we'll draft things.

Looks fine to me, i'll ponder some more on the subject, but i think we should consider asking the specific classes (like paladins) if they think they can manage the extra raids, or we'll just bump the attendance to higher for that specific class. I dont believe f.ex. that spiritus or vehanna's attendance is gonna pick up suddenly and that leaves just me, ekzete, secohan and marduk to fill 5 spots, and thats impossible.

Raid Holiday â€" RG1 & RG2
Many members are meeting up for the week beginning Sunday 2nd July and we are therefore suspending all raiding activity for the period Sunday 2nd July to Thursday 6th July inclusive. Raiding will resume on Sunday 9th July 2006.
RG1 Recruitment
As RG2 develops the Officers have identified that one of the threats to RG2’s progress is that RG1 will periodically ‘steal’ RG2’s best raiders when RG1 has any openings. This will impact upon RG2 stability and progress and is not fair on other RG2 members. Whilst this ‘sharing’ of members between raid groups has worked well for us to date we are now of the opinion that we need to provide RG2 with more stability. With this in mind we are considering opening RG1 recruitment to non-Guild members (instead of RG2 members only) and increasing the requirements for any new RG1 member significantly. The precise requirements are to be decided and more information will follow.
The Officers have spent considerable time discussing the above and we hope that the information provided helps explain the action we are taking to solve the attendance problems and to help both raid groups progress further through the end-game instances.

For me at least, I will be flying down on Saterday the 1st of Juli and back up on Wednesday the 5th.
So raiding should be able to resume as normal, either on Thursday 6th or Sunday 9th.

As a class, only Priests make the total attendance requirement for MC, although only just. Every other class attends less than 2 of every 3 MC runs (Mages meet the requirement once you adjust the numbers to allow for Deadly *Never* attending RG1 MC as he is RG2 RL) and that Zheads is new.
Lock sreally struggle, but then there seemed to have been some confusion over Drewlock - he didn't know he was RG1? Dillinja has started attending regularly so at least one aspect should improve.
MC problems exist with Umbra, Ratatosk, Ashjen. (their MC attendance is significantly worse than their BWL attendance indicating they are ducking out)

Personally i think that *this* is the ultimate example to that we need to recruit 1 more for each class. I'd rather do that than "force" people to attend more since thats not really working right now anyways.
So some people will have to skip a raid now and then.... big deal... its the competition i want, and for people to realise that they need to perform to get stuff.
Looking at the number i also think we need one more of each class in RG1, cause atm we are systimaticly short. Raising the bar i dont know this will help much since they seam to disregard the bar anyway.
