Set the CPU utilisation to 90% instead of 100% ;)

You need to run the console with the "-configonly" switch IIRC

I just the program verions with the icon in the task bar - is that the same thing?

I have knocked down the cpu utilisation a bit.

Basically you are giving the CPU a bit of headroom to service requests from other programs that need some of it's time :D
