Post by: smite on June 30, 2006, 03:24:56 PM
After still continuing concerns with Hi-V i have decided im going to change ISP.

Loss of connection. Loss of web space...etc

So i might go back to Eclipse for OPTION 2 (http://www.eclipse.net.uk/index.cfm?id=usagemain_res)

I had no problems with them in nearly 2 years with no DC's

Still waiting for my migration code :(

From what I remember when I used to frequent the HiV forums people used to have to wait ages. Maybe things have improved so you don't have to wait too long.

mmm...thats cheaper than the present package I have with them ATM ..... and greater download limit ... best upgrade to that option myself...

but yes ...they are still good Mick.... NEVER had any concerns..ALL my problems with connection have been due to BT ....

I've never had any problems with Hi-V other then the initials ones when I first started (2 years ago). Although I haven't played anything other then WoW and GTL so .

I no longer need what Hi-V offer as I don't play on our servers very often so I'll take alook at this package as well :).

They (Eclipse) give u 40£ when you introduce a friend... who wants to introduce me? (lol @ OB)

It seems that to get a migration code from HV is virtually impossible and you can wait up and over 3 months and they don't have to give you one.......how crap is that.

Seems i may have to just cancel and be without a connection until a new one can be set up.

I would be half tempted to just cancel the account, by the time you get the migration code u would have paid more then it cost to reconnect. Bare in mind you won't be able to get a new connection untill the old one has been removed, I get the impression that can take some time.

I'm now setup with eclipse, can someone send me there referer info so they can benefit from £40, or it could be donated to dMw.

If anyone else is about to join eclipse and uses my referer id (when i set it up) I will donate all the money to the dMw cuase.

anyone?
