Hey I have now for the last 2 weeks tryed to find a new RL of RG2, becouse as most ppl allready know. I will be leaving RG2 in the future.
But so far with out any luck on finding a new leader to lead RG2.
So I will now ask ppl to reply in here, who coud be the next RG2 RL or just PM me if you want to hold it abit in secret.
Regards
Deadlyspirit
Just to add to Deadly's post.
The RL role is one that will require effort and high attendance, but it is a highly rewarding role. You would be assisted by the other Marshalls, (so you're not entirely on your own!) and training/help will be given to make sure you are properly prepared for the job. Above all, you need to be a confident communicator on TS as that's where most of the instructions are given. It also helps if you can quickly type the occassional /rs or /raready to make sure people are awake and paying attention! ;)
We need people to step forward for this role if they are interested; PM Deadlyspirit direct if you are.
TL.
Oh and offcourse the Field Marshals would help too if needed :) There is a wealth of information between all of us that we are more then happy too share with the RG2 leader and marshals :)
I noticed Deadlyspirit's name on the guardian list way earlier then this thread. Asking about it back then resulted in that he was going along with Rg1 for the experience later for RG2, I'm pretty much sure that TL stated that. Now as I cannot find the thread where that was writen (asuming it was the Guardian/Defender list thread) I was a little bit surprised by this. Is this because the lack of mages at RG1, cause we (Rg2) sure could use some fine mages ourself.
But as a guildy I whish him all the best at RG1.

All of us thought that too (including Marhals and Field Marshals, and I see some of the Defenders thought that too), but Deadly thought he would join up with RG1 when RG2 had finised MC. It has been written many places that what would happen was that he would join BWL with RG1 and when RG2 was ready for BWL he knew tactics and could follow along with RG2 there - unfortunatly that is not what is going to happen.

Great! <_<
[rant]
Can ppl stop beeing so goddamn negative about this? Yes there was a error in communication, yes its not going as was origionaly intended. But thats no reason to be so negative, instead look at all the hard work that was put in to RG2 get it where it is now.
Believe me when i say that raid leading is no small matter, and that took a lot of effort and its a bit sour to me personably that ppl are reacting like me.
[/rant]
I think that people are reacting like this cuz of the latest discussion about RG1 recruiting RG2's members.
And now its our raid leader. I know that he has put a great effort in getting us where we are now. And I am sure all agree when I say that he has done a hell of good job. Perhaps that is the reason why people are disappointed.
I'd hate to lose a great raid leader
Never the less- best of luck to ya :byesad:
I know it sucks to loose your raidleader. But it still isnt "your" guy, he`s a member of sog then he`s a Tool..ermh "pleasured member" of us all :)
Oh, sweet - yet another setback for RG2.
But best of luck to you Deadly - no hard fealings. :)
Im reading all the comments above and im amazed to as how many comments there are about RG1 stealing yet another member and setbacks for RG2
Have anybody actually considered what deadlyspirit wants to do?
Deadlyspirit should go the way he feels is necessary to play the WoW he likes to play. Nobody should be forced to do anything they dont wanna do, that ruins they game experience. If Deadlyspirit feels that he wants to place most of his time in RG1 thats what he should do since its his choice. Now its up to the rest in RG2 to build the group they need to take the foundation created to even higher levels.
Doing the whole MC without wiping in 1 night on a weekly basis should be first priority, and GOD WILLS you will start in BWL sometime after the summer
Remember that nobody in RG1 is leaving RG2 behind. We will continue our support and help out as much as we can. Especially when it comes to BWL, we will send some of our guys to help out getting the bosses down 1 by 1.
FORZA SOG
Just to set things straight - if Deadly wants to join RG1 - then by all means he should do so - after all - it his game, he pays to play - so no one should tell him how to play.
That being said - then no matter how you look at the situation - it is a setback when the RL leaves - or when anybody leaves for that matter.
The thing is that it just feels awfull when people leave to join RG1. Everyone have their reasons - but it kind of leaves the rest of us behind feeling "less worthy" - i for one do.
But again - all people shall play the game the way the want and where they want - that part is not up for discussion.
But please dont tell me that its no setback - we now once again need to be "babysat" by RG1 for MC - atleast that is how i see it.

Okay now I need to step in....
I wasn't and is not my intention to get bad answers on my reply. Maybe I should be more selective for the words I chose.
I can fully agree with padding that everyone plays HIS/HER game as they want to.... and nobody tells me how to play any game. Like Bastet mentioned earlier there was a mis communication....can happen.
RG2 needs be a group of its own. It's just that getting a new leader can take a long time. I'm not worried about the progress, because we will end up more dead then alive now @ BwL. And if we do get new people then there is a reason for it. Getting new people in the group can mean other people not showing up or upgrading to RG1.
It's not that we are less worthy, it's just we are not as good as equiped and have less experience, but that sounds very logical to me if you consider our raiding history isn't older then 4 months.
So as I always say "Resurrect, group up, buff up ready check and GO".....
And those 4 or 5 new people into the group well they are lucky that they can come along with a semi MC experienced RG2 where most people do have great Tier 1 items already....
Like padding stated....it's up to us guys/girls of RG2....me included!!

I think with the ammount of experience RG2 has atm, MC is currently no problem to clear with new RL. (besides Raggy which still is to be mastered)
We got a good base of players in RG2, we sure hope to keep - and are currently working to increase this "base group". This will insure the succes of RG2.
There are always 2 sides to the coin.
1. RL leaves us, major setback
2. Opportunity for other to step up and take over
Its always easier to criticise than be constructive, and like i wrote, you are not being left behind. You can work on doing the whole MC now in 1 night now. Almost all should know the tactics, the thing almost runs itself, maybe except Majordomo / Ragnaros
Yeah Padding, who needs a RL
Well we have you, dont we
I does not see this as setback for RG2 but as another challenge we have collaborate in to get success and we will. :D
Deadly has done a great job being RL and many thanks to him for that.
He has now reach a point in his WoW life where he wants to move on and find new challenge so let him do that people :byesad:
Now it is up to they people in RG2 to find another leader instead of whine about Deadly's goodbye.
So people, help us finding a new RL, please.
Love your attitude GD :thumb:
Lets get a new RL... I think Siffredi would be a good call if he can handle tanking and leading a raid at the same time
All this will be taken up at our meet tonight on TS.
So I hope to get to a conclution where every one can get a answar tomorrow.
For now the marshals have alot to talk about, so plz easy ppl. We will sort it all out in a way that suit all.

This is what crossed my mind to, since i think alot of people will go on vacation or spend alot time working. (including myself) so i don't think we'll get full atandance at rg2 even, therefore maybe we schould wait after the holliday and then start with bwl, and maybe we got ourself a new RL :D
If i was 100% sure i could have alot of attendance, i would have liked to try to become RL but since i'm not i won't even ask for a try :)
but for now:
D, we miss u allready:sad: :help: but have lots of fun at RG1 u deserve it
