I think we ought to have a theme night at least once or twice a month !!
Previously a long time ago we got a map rotation of about 10 rats maps (giant maps where ur the size of a rat) and had a whale of a time.
I'm hoping soon to get an assault theme night on the go to celebrate the many wonderful variations of that great T biased assault fever :thumbsup:
We've previously had a de_simpsons night (great map :-)
So, do you peeps think this is a great idea? As this requires creative genious we need ideas cos we here at dMw are all boring.
Please post any resonable ideas here.

Simpsons Night (I missed the first one)
we could do a
Deathmatch Night (Speedball, Pro-speedball etc)
FY Map Night (variation on above)
Lord of the Rings Night (moria, helms deep etc. if there are enough)
AWM/AWP Map Night (ohh the sacrilage)
Winter Night (again - but include winter_dust2)
HE map night (could get dull so a HE Map hour maybe?)
Movie Map Night (Starwars, Die Hard, The Rock, Matrix etc.)
Paintball Map Night
Vehicle Map Nights (scootathon are there enough though ?)

I'd put the fy, he and car maps together in clumps. Although fun for a while they do get to you after a while :P
I like the idea of:
Winter Night (again - but include winter_dust2)
Movie Map Night (Starwars, Die Hard, The Rock, Matrix etc.)
Paintball Map Night
Vehicle Map Nights (scootathon are there enough though ?)

Theme nights could be great fun as long as peeps don't take em too seriously :wink: , although the reason I joined the server was to get a good game of cs a break now and again couldn't harm :twisted: :twisted: once or even twice a month would be cool.

Of course the Star Trek map was a mistake. No ones that sad that they would have anything to do with it.
I could try and find the de_supermarket map I was working on! The objective was for the Terrorists to blow up the tesco meats section because it all had mad cow disease, and the CTs had to stop them! lol

Yes! :D It's been halted for ages cos Im currently working on a skin and map pack for CS to convert it into the Star Wars theme with a whole loada pple, so Im busy mappin for that!
I dont know if I even still have de_supermarket!!! I seem to remember my efforts to put a driveable cardboard box inot it caused sooooo many leaks I gave up on it and deleted it!!!
