Title: Pilgaard in ZG Friday
Post by: Greatdanes on July 16, 2006, 09:08:15 AM
This is the discussion Pilgaard and I did have in ZG Friday evening:

Pilgaard: I think is ridiculous at I not could get the staff because I have Staff of Dominance - Will of Arok is perfect to a resto druids - I think it is ridiculous at officer can decide who shall have or not have a item.

Me: I do not really know the difference on the various weapons but it is the officer who decide who get the items and that is there not doubts about.

Pilgaard: This is ridiculous but okay they know for sure what is best for for me - but yesyes - not anything I can anything about.

Pilgaard: Forgive me this is not you fault but I have never hear it before at when you win a roll you suddenly not can have the item just because a officer don't think I shall have it...

Pilgaard: Precisely... but I don't think I can to anything about it or complaint to someone? It's just live with it or leave?

Me: I have tryed the same thing and I am for and against the system but the main reason of this system is to get people better gear so I think system is okay.

Me: There is not really anything to compliant about because we have used this system for a long time in the guild now.

Pilgaard: yea - but I think people with more rep. have deserved it because they have worked a lot on it, end for example Octain who just have been here in ZG a couple of times.

Pilgaard: Yes - okay then I will have to leave if I can't live with it. The staff means not a lot to me so... there will be other stuff coming for me.

Me: When the officer says the one you have is better I think they know what they are saying and it is not for fun they say it.. and yes, there will be better gear for you.

Pilgaard: No they don't.... to BWL fights is this one a lot better end the one I have now. But **** with it let's us forget about this.

The translation from Danish to English is maybe not the best, so if any of my Danich colleague have something to correct, please do.:blush2:

Well I sure hope he will use his Staff of Dominance, as he got it just with slight more dkp than me, and I did ask him if he was sure that was the staff he wanted, and he said;
"I've been wating for Staff of D to drop for ever now, in all the guilds i've been in, i've waited for that drop" - So clearly Staff of D was his dreams.... I think this shows that Pilgaard is, if not 100% then 90% focused on "HIM and that Pilgaard should get what he wants"

He strikes me as the typically danish teenager, with to much spare time, big ego, and no patience at all.

I wasent in ZG, but it's understandable he was a bit ****ed over beeing overruled on high roll. (but then again, it's not the first time i've seen him behave like this)

I think in the future we have to keep an eye out for Pilgaard, as he's the type that can ruin the whole raid group with an bad attitude. Let's give him a chance, and see if he would even get on TS monday night for RG2.

[Your translation is ok Greatdanes, otherwise, ill be happy to translate it on TS or in here later - btw can I edit your post?]

he wasnt high roll, he got overruled on reputation. octain who also didnt "need" it was high roll, imao it should have gone to pangea (umbra's alt), who is still using a mid level weapon but he didnt roll.

he feels that his higher reputation should have gotten him the item, regardless of the rolls

Well did he earn all his reputation in SoG - I doubt it, so why should he get an SoG ZG Raid item before others?

None the less, I have 100% faith to the officers who made the descision. I dont hope my post about Pilgaard has been to negative, but RG2 has had some issues with him.

fast comment. I dont see the diff. if he has earned the rep. in SOG or not. The system says rep. based.

But totaly agree SOD is much better. Nearly same healing, better int and alittle less spirit.

Its true we are going to do it rep wise. However we also added the comment of we can overrule if we think its needed. And seeing he had SoD and octain an aurastone hammer we decided to do this on the rule cause imo then its not need for both. SoD is better imo and from what i read here he wanted SoD for a long time.
Though i must say he behavior there was a bit over the top. Cause later when jindo's evil eye dropped he went crazy when he thought he did not get it. That was a mistake of me cause i forgot he was a main but saw it in time and he got it still. But the way he reacted in raidchat made my blood boil and i also over reacted there. (shame i dont have a picture of it).

Thx for the trouble of translating this for me
And on the point him mentionin its ridiculous for the raidleaders to be able to overrule tbh he just proved why we can do that.

The decision for him not to get it was sound.  He is acting in a very immature way.  Monitor his behaviour and then act accordingly.

Pilgaard is a very immature person, and i doubt seriously that hes more than 14-15 years old. I have not had any incidents with him personally but i think that things add up against him. RG2 has experienced him doing odd stuff and not listening to what is asked or just go afk without notice several times during a run. So my suggestion is to monitor him as earlier spoken of and if we can see that hes not improving give him a warning, and if it does not work then take the consequence...
