There is a thread about soloing Naxx on the Ravenholdt server forum (I got alts there).
A warrior soloed a slime mob in Naxx by just kiting it around for 90 mins:laugh:
However, it did drop good stuff (though it doesn't show on the screenshots)

Hmm, if they don't have ranged attacks it should be easy to kite them around (since slimes are slow).
I hope they keep it that way, so we can all solo farm the place :tongue: .
might drop a nice epic, and warrior ranged sucks, mage should be able to do it a lot faster :tongue:

But they can drop certain things needed for armorsets (tier 3). So farming them once in a while might not be such a bad idea, because once AQ40 is on farm (will take a while) and you go to naxx you don't have to start to farm billions of items for armor sets and stuff.
A mage would be the best option for farming I guess since they got frostbolts.

Any class with DoT's or good ranged attacks is an option.
In terms of speed, I'd say hunters would be the best, since they can kite properly, do damage and don't have to rely on mana (a mage will run out of mana, 135000HP is a lot).
Yeah Id better bring loads of mana pots, and respec so I get Curse of Exaustion (spelling?) - That should help a bit. :smile:

Easy mode, just keep Shadow Word pain on it and Renew on yourself and keep runniing if you love your life!! :tongue:

About 19 minutes if you spam insect swarm and moonfire every 12 seconds, with 200 +damage gear (if you have enough mana that is, so bring mana pots and your innervate button :tongue: ).

Some people on Allakhazam also claim that the slimes no longer have loot. A bit strange I guess....I didn't see a small hot-fix patch or something and Blizz could have fixed it by just making the mobs linked (like they did eventualy in UBRS near Drakki).
There's only one way to find out....someone has to kill two slimes (if one is empty, just to check if a second one has loot or is empty too).

There doesnt need to be a patch, small things like that can be fixed server side
even if they are pulled as a pack you can still kill them solo it just takes X*90 min since they dont have any ranged abbility

I can't believe Blizz removes loot from those slimes just because they are solo pullable. You still have to do hard **** to get em down without actualy exploiting them.
Yeah, why not nerf tribute run as well? since chinese farmers can solo King Gorduk as well using an exploit.
