Just thought I should combine a recommendation of a great mod, with some gloating about my contribution to it (look at the red arrow)

I've also looked a bit into the mana conserve functionality that is in the mod and given the author some suggestions on that (which he is working on this moment). While I did this, I made a spread sheet so that I could get
an overview on how talents and +healing stats influenced the final effect you get from HT.
I've uploaded the files (both .ods and .xls, whatever you prefer) to FileFront so that you can have a look at it yourself if you'd like: http://hosted.filefront.com/Bofur/1683765 (http://hosted.filefront.com/Bofur/1683765)
You can change the values for your various talent points and other stats to see how that affect your healing
I think you made a 'copy -> paste error'. The +healing penalty factor for HT rank 4 is not 1, right? Since the casting time is faster.

Nope, shouldn't be any errors there I think. And it's not something "copy->paste" either - it's all based on mathematical calculations (based on formulas I've found at WoWWiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Formulas:Plus_damage_and_Plus_healing)). If you take a look in the forumla view of all the fields, you should easily see how it works.
It is spells that are learnt
before level 20 that get a reduction in the bonus from +healing, and since HT4 is learnt
at level 20, it gets the full bonus
You're right, I'm just reading it wrong.
Rank 4 doesn't get full benefit because of the reduced casting time, but it doesn't have a penalty because it learned at level 20 instead of before  .
What I actually found a bit interesting as I played around with different input values in the spread sheet, was that if you have no +healing at all, it's your highest rank HT that gives you the most healing done pr. mana spent. But as you increase the amount of +healing, this slowly changes.
When you get to +300 healing it's pretty much very even for all the ranks, but when you get more than +400 (+447 as I have atm), you can clearly see that you get out more healing pr. mana for the lower rank spells.
Some nice stuff to think about

Yeah, that's right Neff!
And even twice, did you see that :woot2:

Twice?
Nope only once, the second time I said I was reading it wrong <_< .

If you count that post too, you've read it wrong
twice as well
What I was reffering to when I said
"And even twice", was what Neff said about me being thanked. I got credit two places in the patch notes for the add-on
It's too early ..., still sleeping <_< .
