I have a man that is particularly good at this sort of thing, I'll have a word in his shell-like.

Just spent over an hour trying to get this to work as a straight forward server status page without all the MySQL stuff. No luck yet

I am on a shared server environment with limited access to ports, so I can't test it out here

Been out of the picture for a few days as I put my back out.  Is the GTL server running, it does not seem to be on the list at the moment.

It seemed the server was restarted after a Windows update and of course GTL needs to be hand cranked. Duly cranked.

so ... are you guys mainly GTLing or LFSing, and if LFSing - will the demo do or do we need the full thing?

LFS is 'The full thing' As the person that pointed me to the original demo all those years ago, I'm amazed you're not up to S2U19.

GTL, LFS, take ya pick.

It's rare that I shell out money for games ...  the LFS demo was good for a while but the faster the cars the worse I did. The only racing games I stuck with and finished were the GranTurismo series and similar on the playstation/xbox. Semi-simulation semi-arcade racing. For now the computer desk has nowhere that my wheel can bolt on to. Might try using that joypad thing I have in a shoebox somewhere...still doubt I'd buy LFS though, I'm barely playing any games at the mo'
