Title: vs ^Ssh 2 aug 2006 - win 17-7
Post by: Dr Sadako on August 02, 2006, 10:02:21 PM
It did not start out great. We went to the server but found out that we were on the wrong server. Then they showed up on the server we were on (don't ask me how they knew) and we decided to play on Baldric. We moved there and waited for all to join. They were very keen to get the match going so Hippy joined at the last second to make a full team.

7-5 to us first half as T. Should have been 8-4 but they kept on whining that the AMX kicked their players.
10-2 second half as CT. We really controlled the game. They kept on whining about AMX and ppl kept on dropping.

After the match we had a chat and they kept on whining about the AMX. I told them we would accept a challenge on their server and their map pick. We beat them quite easy so there was really no discussion about the result.

I had that kicked due to challange not answerd aswell in the 2nd half of the match.:eyebrow: But didn't told them.

Mats, next time, size does screenies down a bit

GG though, before getting that kicked due to challenge not answerd I had a score of 8-4 btw. I had just defused the bomb. Lost a good ammount of money there.<_<

Did they not make the challenge then, I assumed so looking at the fixture sheet?

As for AMX, is there any admins that don't know how to use RCON?  If and only IF their isn't,could we look at removing amx from Baldric if it's becoming a problem we have to overcome each match?

Why exactlly have they black flagged us?
From this version of events there is nothing to warrent that!
Has anyone actually spoke to them about it?
has anyone spoken to an admin about it?

what they said...

Quote(http://www.enemydown.co.uk/images/blackflag.gif) gave us a server ip that didnt belong to their clan, told us to go to their match server, ended up with us playing with amx on the server. and then 4 of our players got disconnected with '' client timed out when answering challenge''

Well, they didn't tell the whole story did they.

1. They agreed to play on our server.
2. We paused the game every time they dropped.
3. We didn't pause when DuVeL dropped (still won the round).
4. After the match we discussed what had happend over alltalk and I explained to them that they were the first to question AMX in over 400 matches we played in ED. Their leader said that they would accept the result and everything was ok. I told them to rechallange us on map of their choice and on their server. He was ok with that and said that "I will write something nice on ED".

Didn't they give us an IP? It was stated as an away match so we usually get their clanserverIP. We had the serverIP from a clan called SS and how did both teams end up on that server then?
For the rest what Sadako said. This was all discussed during alltalk after the match.

*A tad confused

I'd be on it if I had more rights on ED (and the avail page). Guess Madness, OB or someone else needs to sort this one.

They said that that error about "challenge not answerd" was an AMXproblem and not a Steam/CounterStrikeproblem. But, Sadako put AMX off and they still had it. I also had it on several other servers like BoD (before the bannage).

Hehe n1.

I searched the net and found no relation whatsoever between AMX and "time out while answering challenge". Apparantly no one knows the reason for it (including steam. no surpise there) and the only remedy that seems to work is to shut down steam and restart it.

I must say, the part where they said we gave them the wrong IP is rather amusing considering they challenged us.

But then again, we're not little children as they are. I've checked their site, it seems that some of them have been playing for only a year.
I've checked the CL and his favourite weapon as a CT is an M4A1 and a Mac-10. Mac-10 can only be bought by T's. :lmfao:
