I've made a movie about the real asset in SOG - The players
The movie can be found at:
http://files.filefront.com/sog_forevermpg/;5360717;;/fileinfo.html (http://files.filefront.com/sog_forevermpg/;5360717;;/fileinfo.html)
Beware that its around 130mb in size, but its worth it ;)
Since i couldnt ask all people for permission to have them in the movie, please tell me if you have a problem with it, and i'll fix it instantly
Everyone should download this and get into the guild spirit
Download startet.
And if I am in it, not a problem.
Which codec? Can't play it
brilliant!
Verry nice Padding. Though the last 4 minutes were boring
Isn't working here, prolly wrong codecs?? 0_0
The movie is in SVCD (which is the best i could find at the time)
Use something like BSPLAYER (Bsplayer.org) if you cant get it to work
Awesome movie, Padding! Now I suddenly wish I had posted a pic in the RL pictures thread.
Star Wars 4tw!
post pix!11
Toff missed :b
I liked the movie though :)
N1 :flirty: Good job!
But everyone knows the Imperial March from Star Wars is way much better than the endtheme :narnar:
Sorry I couldn't find any pictures for you in time!
Shep
Yeh, very nice movie. GJ Pad :)

Apparantly you didnt notice that i timed some of the screenshot to the music, and to the people that thinks that the last 4 minutes of a tree and music is an error, i'll just say:
YOU DONT INTERRUPT JOHN WILLIAMS MUSIC! :taz:
So then, why didn't you have the prelude from Carmen to open it???
:narnar:
Shep
lol. TL looks like a thoroughbred gangster :flirty:
Who said hes not?
Off topic: Found my new avatar! HAH bastet ^^
edit: IT DOESNT WORK :|
Just watched the whole movie now, and I loved it
First to try and be a bit "deep" and serious: it made me smile, both on the inside and the outside. All those pictures brought back many nice memories from last months' events (like the SOG meet for once), and also from the "elder" days, and it made me think about what Padding said in the video about the corner stones in our progress and succes: teamwork and teamspirit!
And it had quite a few funny touches as well: I laughed out loud (and than I mean loud) when I saw the picture of The Duck :roflmao:
And also that one about not always doing it the easy way... Golemagg pulled up on the brigde - priceless :lmfao:
Looking forward to the follow-up Padding
Follow-up coming much later.... i have a whole bunch of ideas for the next one but its gonna take me very long time to make since im a perfectionist
Gonna be a somewhat different video tho, probably more focused on the fun stuff, but enough said...
Look out for the new video, coming to home theater near you realsoonnow [tm]
bdw padd, bob and spiri got the pics i took with my cam@the meet, it aint much but there are some funnyones ;)

I will see if I get some time to post 'em sometime before the weekend - pretty much to do (moving on Sunday), so I can't promise anything though
I've just tried to install the BSplayer recommended by Padding but it doesn't seem to want to load the movie. :( Any suggestions?
I have sound but no pictures...

Hm no.... bsplayer works perfectly for me, unless its a an old version?
I downloaded the current free version (with all the advertising stuff :( ) but its still just sound.
Is there any strange codec needed?
Not strange but its SVCD (which was the best i could find at that time)
Bsplayer should be able to play it tho.... otherwise try a dvd player like Cyberlink PowerDVD
I'd reccomend using MPlayer (http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html)!
It's originally a media player for linux, and it's got no graphical user interface in windows (at least I don't think so), but that's not really not of any importance.
I have never had any problem playing any kind of video with it (doesn't take quicktime format thingys, but who uses 'em anyhow ).
And it's really easy to use (open a file with it, <- and -> = backwards/forwards 10 seconds, up/down arrow = backwards/forwards 1 minute, pgUp/pgDown = backward/forward 10 minutes, and space bar = pause).
It's simple, it's genious, it's all you need
Great vid Padding :) Well done!
Maybe I should get to posting a pic of myself here...
just download a codec pack ppl
Nice vid Paddster, but I still don;t get the 4 mins at the end. I watched it all, twice. Or was that the joke :norty:
