encountering a problem while trying to connect to that server, dled the 17.2mb map and there was a .nav with it too.

copied them over to: C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike\maps

and when i try to connect with the server it says missing map and then disconnects me.

any ideas?

In my installation they have to go in:

Code Select

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\blueball@deadmen.co.uk\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

Boomer's our CS:Source server isnt it? I presume Cstrike is 1.6 counterstrike based on Half life 1 engine, you may wanna install them to your Source directory which frankly could be anywhere.

Mine for instance is as follows:

D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\jailbird11275\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

Just an idea.
