Title: LAN X = aniversary right? Anything special?
Post by: DuVeL on August 09, 2006, 11:03:08 AM
As it's allready over +/- 2 months (if it's still being held in October, hint hint  ), is there something special coming up? We're allready on LAN X and usually that's an aniversary right?
We've allready had Tshirts and beermugs and almost had beermats.
Tshirts are allways nice unless someone has a better idea?

Please remember that all SoG registered players of WoW are part of dMw. We are one community of people that happens to play different games. Consequently, you and any other WoW player have just as much right as anyone else to attend the LAN

Current LAN details can be foundat:

This is going to be very confusing to read but here goes:

The LANs are held in March (thats a place near Cambridge) twice a year. The next one is in October (thats a month not a place )

:lmfao:, go Mike. Must say that after re-reading it this put a big smile upon my face. I've never thought of it like this.:flirty:

Was it not posted originally first to Charlie and then to the rest of the community??

Not excluding but it seems that the original charlies don't have first shot anymore.

Well, ehrm, as I recall:
SoG-members have not asked yet to become Bravo-members nor Charly-members therefor they can't reply in the Bravo-threads or Charly-threads where as the LANs are being confirmd firstly and only lateron for normal members.
I hope I'm right here. Not sure though  .

I believe that's how it's always worked smite. AFAIK no dates have been set for this one yet. The other thread (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=13845) is just people champing at the bit, as it were.

As soon as OB & TL have officially sorted things out with the hotel, then I'm sure an official post with the customary advance booking notice for Charlie's will be forthcoming. If it's no longer to work like that, then I guess we'll have the new way of things explained to us...

Until then, anything else (deciding who's doing what, and who's gonna sit where for instance) is just idle speculation.

Last time I spoke to TL he was still in "negotiations" with the hotel, I think this meens trying to NOT get the same date as all the police being there AGAIN!!!!

It would be good to see a few of the WoW guys there, just remember tho that main games played are usually CZ and BF2 as a side show to all the drinking. It would be advisable for anyone to have at least one of these games, as there is only one connection to the internet and I think more than 5 ppl playing WoW would be seriously slow on the connection

I would have thought it was more to avoid the "wedding fayre" rather than the police conference thing. They want us out by 10am on Sunday ... :lmfao:

Don't forget GTL and the usual game UT2004.
But having BF2 or CZ is allways good.

At Monkey, there were some nice bridemades and so though :norty:
And that blonde from across the street with her nailshop and so.

You get to share a room with TL, ply him with enough beer and you never know you luck may be in.
