-First he posts his application in the wrong forum, instead of PMing it to Bastet.
-He didn't fill in his spec in his profile.
-And his gear doesn't look good enough for RG1 in my opinion. Since he got only two MC pieces, which might indicate that he is short on experience.

i would say his gear is of lesser importance since our druids are mostly done in MC with their set by now i asume
he will catch up soon enough

what is more important is his ability to play his class and willingness to learn about all the tactics and everything

good druids are hard to come by, and if some players could vouch for his skill id say it might be worth loading him up on epics in a few MC runs

Absolutly true, like I've said before in another thread 'skill > gear > spec'; and we do need more good druids. I didn't want to sound negative or anything, but gear does say something about were you have been and thus indirectly something about your experience. But I do not know him personally, so I might be wrong, it's just an assumption. So feel free to contradict me on this.

Posting his application in the wrong forum and not being able to view his spec didn't leave a good impression on the other hand. I'd like to ask his sponsor to contact him about this, so we can take a look at his spec.

I get so ****ed off with the CTprofiles site being down or failing to load properly most of the time that anyoen using it gets a 'NO' vote from me. :norty:

Well a bit off topic TL, but CTProfiles is fine (although it can be slow on occasion). If it doesn't show your gear or spec the owner just didn't put it in there. Personally I prefer CTProfiles over Allakhazam, because you can put your different gear setups in there, so you can easily view them (which is especially nice for druids, since we have numereous different sets). The down side is that you can't look into their bags; but then again you won't have too if you can view all their different gear setups. The wish list is also nice, because it can give an impression about if someone 'knows his stuff'.

My experience of reviewing applications tells me that if you try checking a CTprofile at 6am you have no problems.  But try ti any time in the evening (when we usually check them) and CTprofiles blows chunks.  Allakhazm FTW.

Sorry for continuing a bit off topic, but it's just something that really annoys me with CTProfiles: I use FireFox, and whenever I open somebodys CTProfile, my whole browser window (with all tabs and the sites I'm watching atm) resizes to fit the bloody CTProfile frame :yell:
And if I set my window back to the size I want it in, it resizes back down again whenever I change between the different gear setups :taz:
