As most of you know already i have been thinking of swapping my alt with my main, and making my Warrior my main.
Now i need to know is if this is possible? I do know that we are currently have no spaces for Warriors in RG2. And im not saying that i want to swap over night, just seeing if in the future when we are in need of another tank in RG2 that it be considered?
I am currently trying to get my FR gear, which will take some time so i am grinding hard.

Hehe yeah. Well as I see it, if we have a spot and you'd like to swap why not - As long as you wont leave RG2 :biggrin: - You are doing a hell of a job, so is everyone else btw.

Updating on this is it possible to change my main to my warrior? The main reason is due to our main before alt in raids. At the moment i will never get in a ZG run as this is my alt... What do you think?
You can join your alt in ZG+AQ20 - afaik, loads of ppl do that.
Well being that i signed up as 11th person 2nd warrior for today.. I know Mains get priority and being that the runs are normally always full especilaly for warriors unless i change i will not get in.
ZG/AQ is always open for alts. and its on first come/serve sign up systems (or close too, some attention is payed to class balance)
As for swopping your main, i have thought about that myselfs, but in the end i figured that the experiance i have and more importantly the gear, is far more valueable and important to me and the group then that swop.
Also atm Defender group is tight on healers and removing another one is not a good idea, as well as the fact that your warrior dont have good gear, and the need to kit up another priest.
Lastly you have the nasty precedent that you where allowed to swop, and you might open the floodgates of other ppl wanting to swop also, severly crippeling the group.
I would say if RG2 can take it, start the swopping to alts for certain raids, it alows you to kit up your warrior, while still preserving raid intergerty.
Lastly if you want to move on w/ this swop, ill have to recomend you beeing dropped to soldier, as we did w/ ekzete and some others.

The note here being that the character has the position, not the person. However this is also slightly different to a normal member swapping (where we would demote their main to alt, and make their new main a Soldier (and ask them to reapply for Defender/Guardian). I am sure if the time came then you would only consider such a swap when their were sufficient healers, spaces in the Defender warrior ranks and you'd had a discussion with other Marshals as to whether the application for your new Soldier main would be successful. We're not trying to make things difficult, but to protect the Raid Group as Bastet said. Clearly we would want to maintain the RL in such circumstances, but everything else would need to stack up as well.

Ok maybe i did just jump the gun and my responce i do admit it was a rushed one and i do appologise. But all i can say is at the moment it does look like my warrior will not see a ZG/AQ run nor a MC run due to fact OneAngel is always needed what i think is the best thing is too move my warrior outside the guild so i can get some runs in then move back in if im allowed to swap to main? Because if i did swap over characters it would cause a lot of people to think hey i can do that..

You can get your tank into ZG and AQ20 very easily. If you recruit priests to the right level then you have a fair chance of getting to re-roll to your tnak alt and gearing up that way in MC (assuming you adopt the same alt rules for MC & OL as RG1 in the very near future - ie min 35 Defenders, but for every one in excess then you can get one re-roll to an alt assuming sufficient in class). I think this would level up just as quickly and far more reliably than dropping your warrior outside the Guild.
And in any case, people would notice a character swap whether or not you were in our out of Guild.
Be patient, recruit more priests to ensure full attendance, continue to gear up the warrior and then look for the next available Defender slot.
