Dead Men Walking

At the end of our current run in the edcup I WILL be standing down as CS Head admin ..and war arranger in both ed and SGL. I will carry on until the run ends ...(hopefully with dMw as the winners)!!!!
 
This decision has been taken due to a number of issues which I wont be going into in any great detail .. but many thanks go to all the folks who have tried to keep dMw's flag flying in cs:cz wars ..who knows someone else may take up the challenge and carry on.!!
 
I, for one would like to thank the current crop of players who have IMHO, upheld dMw's hard earned reputation in ed and even surpassed the efforts from previous players ... hats off to you guys .. :clap:
 
My current plans go to carrying on with cz ..albeit as a player rather than arranger ... obviously this will mean me removing myself from the team rota on ed so I am not accused of merc'ing.
 
I hope to remain in some way, a part of dMw ..(so dont think ya got rid of me) :narnar: ,
 
and hope to see some dMw tags on some of the publics :byebye:

I can only commend the efforts of you, the other CZ admins and the guys who have supported you by playing competitive CZ on behalf of dMw. :worship:

Madness I think that dMw may struggle to find someone to replace you. I think it is only because of your commitment, and that of the regulars, that dMw has achieved so much in the clan match arena.
I know that I would be hard pushed to commit myself as much as you have.

I'll add my weight to the admiration and respect shown by the previous posters.

You did a top job in very difficult circumstances mate. When I thought competitive CZ was dead in dMw you thought otherwise and proved your point by not only keeping it going for so long but by achieving a level of success that, considering your scant resources, was really quite remarkable.

So hats off to you Nidge. Whatever you decide to do in the future I sincerely hope that you get a barrel full o' fun from it with as little hassle as possible.

One thing's for certain: You've gone and raised the bar for your replacement.

I may not play CZ (or indeed much of anything) anymore, but I can appreciate all the time and hard work you must have put in as chief organiser.  To resurrect matchplay in a "community" that generally appears to be veering away from its FPS gaming heritage, is commendable and appreciated (even if it isn't often shown).

Aye, a great loss to dMw (especially to TCZ). Just hope we can get a replacement who will fill the part and not let competitive CZ within dMw die.
