Today i received a mail stating i hadn't been raiding enough to satisfy the guardian requirements. I posted in the absence thread to say that work was busy atm and i may miss sign up times.... since then i think i have missed one raid...
if this isn't good enough, i'm not sure i can offer any more. If this was an oversight then prehaps we should look more closely before slagging the "commited" RG1 members off.
I know that some people may read this post as abrupt, although it was not intended to sound that way, but that's more or less the way i read the e-mail i received...

i got the same pm =( guess we will be replaced by others.. or changed with RG2 ppl.. unless we increase our attendance.
You will not be replaced with RG2 members as its not an upgrade to go into RG1 :P
RG2 member cannot join RG1, and RG2 is not RG1s fishing pawn :D

The PM, to be fair to the officers did say that it did not take into account any posts given on the forums.
I however felt my attendance was reasonable...
Just state the reason.... like me f.ex. i've been on vacation for the last 3 weeks and i also got a letter
So bare with us here, we are trying to solve a problem and some people are being catched in the middle unfairly. If you would help us out by replying the answer you already stated in another post, then we will be grateful.

Folks, it really is essential that people read the whole PM before getting upset or hacked off. I quote from the message you got:

This is kind of unambiguous. It's a cry for help from the officers, it asks you to let us know so that we can note your allowed absence on our records because we

If you would otherwise have made the attendance requirement then you should have nothing to worry about.
If you had no good reason for not making the attendance requirement then you should see the writing on the wall.
Either way, it's nothing to post about in the forums and moan about when you have not read the PM properly in the first place. FYI I got one of these PMs too, my reply was simple, it said:
