Folks, I know I said it on TS, but I wanted to say how pleased I was to see the progress RG2 made in BWL yesterday against arguably the two toughest fights up until Nefarian.
Razegore
This was real messy to start with until everyone got their head screwed on and remembered what they are supposed to be doing. In particular the Mages made great progress and the new positioning of the sheep made the tanks and healers job hugely easier and contributed greatly to the very controlled killing of Razegore - well done!
Vaelestrasz
The previous best attempt for RG2 was to last 15 seconds with Vaelestrsz, so by the end of the evening to have managed to survive initially 30 seconds, then 1min40, then 2min30, then get him down to 14%, 7% and finally 4% is seriously impressive progress. You all now know the fight, you all know you can do it. Go farm for Flasks (Supreme Power for casters - several of our alchemists can make them), make sure you bring Brilliant Wizard Oil, Elemental Sharpening Stones etc and maximise that DPS. Contact every priest, druid and pallie in RG2 and make sure they will be there next time you visit BWL. If you do this then I am convinced that if you follow the same controlled and calm strategy that we practiced successfully last night then you will have a new RG2 first kill.

I would just like to say - very nice job RG2. We can more than "smell" the killing of Vael now.
If we all bring pots and items to max. dps then im confident Thursday is a Vael kill day.

First of all Well Done RG2 on another kill of Razorgore seriously good going. And im sure on Thursday we can get down that vaelestrasz :biggrin: just take note to get some exta pots for dps.
I would also like TL for helping us out last night his words of wisdom really helped both the raid and the marshalls in which we has a much better understanding of the fight and now feel much stronger about it.

Yeah as I said on TS you really made the difference last night TL. You helped us sort out the sheeping-issue at Razergore and you did a very detailed and professional explanation of the Vael fight.
It was nice to see that everyone paid attention last night. Everyone was focused all the way through and I felt that at 11:30 game time people still wanted to keep trying Vael and not go to OL.
I think last night was a very good example on how the right guidance and people willing to listen is alfa and omega!

Daedalus can make Elemental Sharpening Stones and I can make Elixir of the Mongoose. All rogues+warriors should use them.
I can make Flask of Supreme Power. All casters should use it.
TL can make Brilliant Wizard Oil. All casters should use that aswell.
It's not cheap, but it will help us so much that we should be able to down him. Cya thursday.

not only its advisable to farm for flasks/sharpening stones etc but enchant some of ur gear too (the ones u know u wont be replacing too soon) as that helps. keep it up with the serious hard work nubs, hes going down!
