These posts sound negative ICE but they are all very true.

The game has some many Depths, Levels and interesting scenarios that each night will be different. The graphics are fantastic. The size of the game has years in it. The ways to play it are endless.

BUT this game is addictive. You will want to play it all the time. All other games dissapear. Arguments about not leaving the house start to begin, Partners leave and create another family while you are unaware. The dog starts to eat the furniture for need of something to eat and you either lose a vast amount of weight or have the local pizza shop on speed dial.

Think very hard before buying this game. This i am not joking about. It grabs and doesn't let go.

Depends on your psyche. If you think you wont be able to stay up for 5-7 hours STRAIGHT 3-5 days a week (when you're not grinding money/matt's for pots/ rep) Think again, the hunger of epix does something to you :/

Yeah this is a nasty game, altough i have met a lot of new friends through it, i honestly do wish i never started to play it. It really is far to addictive. And i wish Blizzard put time restrictions on it...

It's more addicitve if you get on Teamspeak, then you can chat all evening with your friends.  That makes it just like the feelings I had for CS (pre-1.5) in the early days, an evening just went flying by when playing CS back then.  WoW does the same for me now, although I am sure one day it will also come to pass.

Personally I still get huge enjoyment out of the game and if it were not WoW it would probably be another social game.

I have hardly any social life any more,

If you dont want to go out any more then its good.

Any game that is this addictive is bad.

Its all true, if there are things you still want to do over the next 1/2 years then stay away.

Playing WoW is a lifestyle choice.

I never had a social life before WoW, so I cant blame that game for that one.

Icehawk- therse a 10 day trial, you may as well try that first and see if u like the style of game.

All the above posts are true however with a bit of disciplin you can maintain a social life. I have a job, GF and a social life even though I play almost every day. A good advice is to not adjust your RL to wow but the other way around.
Play whenever you have time to spare. Dont make time for playing wow.

I started playing last year just before examns. Actually I didnt get to study at all. I just played!

Recap. This game is awesome. You wont find this kind of satisfaction anywhere else. But be aware, it will take up alot of your time. You simply cannot play this game only an hour at a time. It is not possible!
