Hello chaps,
I'm intending to have a go at the quest tonight, so far I've arranged some oils and things, but what I'd like is a BoW from a pally, a GoTW from a druid, and an AB from a mage, if one of each can be around this evening to lend a hand i'd be most appreciative

Happy to AB assist and I'll meet you when the server's back up to make those oils. I cna also make the Oil of Immolation you'll need as well if you want?

Oil of immolation is MUST, and if you can you should grab some stratholme holy water, This helps you so that you don't need to use mana to kill skellies. Getting the Blasted lands int buff as well as the AB buff also really helps.
True vargen but with the holy nova as it is now. Its allready pretty easy8) .
But yes Oil of immolation is a must. And thorns and that un goro thorns buff is handy. Look at the priest class forums for a more detailed description.

Assuming they can reamimate the hamster since it seems to have died.
Actually you should be able to do the quest only with priest buffs, a major mana potion or two and lots of oil of immolation...it might take a couple of tries tho.
And you should prepare yourself for the possibility that you won't do it in the first go.

Yep main thing is Oil of Immolation otherwise easy enought to do :smile: .
I did it without Holy Nova. I found that shield, fear, oil of immolation and major mana pots were enough. If I recall I had my own priest buffs and a BOW.
Best tip is to use Bird's Eye POV, it makes selecting the ones needing healing real easy - and make sure you pressed 'V' to show the health bars.
First couple of waves are pretty easy, then from there on you need to periodically Fear, keep healing, bubble, oil of immolation (several) and keep healing. Through out this pop a major mana pots as soon you are able and the cooldown allows.
I did one try just to see what it was I was dealing with and then 2 hours later when the NPC respawned did it for real. Across both tries I think I used something like 15 oil of immolation and 5 major mana pots or so.

i reckon I should be ok with pally druid and mage buffs and some potions. will reschedule to whenever i'm not raiding next, TY Blizz :(
Thanks all for the help info etc, In the end did it just using 9 oil of immolation and my pof buff
all because... there was another priest there doing it, so we grouped up, I stayed nr cave, perfectly still but healing/curing poison as normal, her running around as normal, cleaner only appears if you move ;)
just need some essences for my 30 spell damage now

Well actually TL, the NPC spawns after 20 mins not 2 hours. Blizz changed that in one of the patches.
