A fantastic bit of over-engineering

I couldn't get the web cam to work either, and I'm only behind my own firewall (which (I believe ) I have full controll over)... <_<

But really cool set up for that counter - would be fun to make one of those 8)

Maybe the chap's decided to take things a step further and over-engineer his webcam.  I'm guessing the resulting solution hasn't been optimised yet.

Let me see: a web-actuated solenoid that depress the shutter of a polaroid camera aimed at the mechanical counter, a conveyer belt transfer of the resulting frame (allowing developing time of course) to a flat-bed scanner, before scanning and publishing to the web.  That sound convoluted enough?

And yes, I'm bored again today...
