Sheepeh - I HATE YOU  :P

I have been drooling at the Prometeia and Vapochill systems for a while now, but because they have looked sooo butt-ugly, my brain has been able to shelve such stupid stupid stupid ideas with relative ease.

.....but thanks to YOU I now know that Prometeia do a Lian Li Aluminium Mod Kit.....
.....and as I already own a suitable Lian Li Aluminium case that would sit neatly on top of the Lian Li mod compressor unit.....
.....I may now be tilting inexorably towards the most stupid, pointless and mind-blowingly exciting purchase that I have ever made......grrrrr

If my sanity wins out, I will kill myself.
If my insanity wins out, it will kill my wallet and that will mean my wife will kill me.
Either way, I would just like you to know before I die, that I hate you for posting that url.

Anyone got a towel?  There's a heck of a lot of drool around my desk......

He sold his collection of shirts.

With the £7 he got for the shirts he bought a knife.

With the knife he robbed a post office.

With the £5000 he got from the post office he bought a gun and a car.

With the gun and the car he robbed a bank.

He used the £500,000 from the bank job to buy a fake credit card.

He used the fake credit card to buy the £200 worth of fridge system under his PC!

He keeps his beer in it!

tealeaf, if u ave that Prometeia remember to get some dyelectric grease and closed cell foam.  that beast is not just water cooling its chilling below ambient and its damn irrisponsible of them not to heavily recomend more condensation measures.

use the grease and foam to cover the cpu area on the back of the motherboad and also smeal about 1/2 ro 1 inch around the cpu socket on the front of the board.

u c its quite poss the waterblock will cool the cpu the socket and the surrounding motherboard below ambient.

The super cool temps of -32c cause less condensation than say 0c in a room of ambient 25c.  The dew point is usually just below ambient bepending on the humidity.  However there is plenty of time for condensation to form while its all reaching the -32c temp.  The promethia peeps rely on the fact their kit will get there quickly.

They reckon that it gets down to about -40 C in 3 minutes from an ambient temperature start.

That's quick enough for me  :D

Anyway, if SS says I'm going to die then I may as well buy it before I do, right?  :?

Guys, just bought a Dremel copy from B&Q.  Its called a "handy tool" or somthing gay like that.

Its just like a dremel with a very nice rubber type coating for easy grip.  It is variable speed and comes with 60 bits including drills, sanders, smoothers, engravers, saws etc etc to get you started.

"How much?" I hear you say.... £14  thats right, £14
