Title: Windows Live Messenger
Post by: Bob on September 01, 2006, 06:39:49 PM
While updating to the latest version of Windows Live Messenger earlier today, I got this rather peculiar "error" message:

(http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/2629/msnerrorxf4.th.jpg) (http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/2629/msnerrorxf4.jpg)

So what they are really saying here, is that I'm not supposed to install MSN

The message box you see, is from the install of Win Live MSN, and the program that does the install, is the "Windows Live Messenger Setup Wizard" (as you can see in the title pane).
The message from the program is that the Setup Wizard has detected open programs that is reccomended to shut down before continuing with the install, and the only program it can find, is itself <_<

Was that a good enough explanation :norty:

Hence the confusion....
