I played "The Hidden" mod for hl2 some time ago. It was really good!
A squad has to find and kill an almost transparent player, who has only a knife and homemade bombs. He has increased strength as well and can climb on walls. He also has heat vision when not moving. Whoever kills "the hidden" gets to play the hidden the next game. Playing as hidden is not easy.
What about you guys, have you tried it? And if so what do you think?
PLayed it when it was beta a few times. It is good if you find a good co-operative server but there weren't many of them.

It is a nice game, and mad adrenaline rush when u play as the hidden. Takes some skill. Sadly it got annoying when a few ppl got too good and due to so little servers it made it hard to play the game as it should be. They would pounce into the air all the time making it impossible to see or shoot them. Spoilt it really.

Too many exploits though - all you need to do is modify the Hidden player's textures and he's realy easy to see (he's still transparent, but the camouflage looks more like TV static and he can't blend in anywhere).
Unfortunately, too many people do it and I've not had a decent game of it since the beta.

Ah, maybe they fixed it and I didn't notice.
The last time I played it was beta2, its now in beta5 and from what i hear, they are about done with it. I know they have other "projects" so they will likely polish off beta5 and go for a final v1 release. (thats me speculating)
Might give it another go, might not, just dpends on whether I can drag myself away from WoW
