Guys,
One of the people I work with is trying to raise the capital to fund a sponsored trip to the Himalayas in order to raise money for Children's charities. If anyone has a few pound burning a hole in the pocket I know Dick would be very grateful for the contributions. Our company will double all the money he raises so all help means twice what you give but go on, splash out a bit :)
Here is message from Dick that was sent internally to the company. basically, to ensure that the charities get all the money raised Dick needs to cover his own costs. All donations greatfully received (thanks for your time):
QuoteAs you may know I am trekking to Everest Base Camp starting on 6th October to raise money for the Computacenter charities. This trip is fully paid for prior to any fundraising so that all money raised goes to our charities and will of course be doubled by Computacenter.
The trip is the main part of CC's annual fundraising and is intended to act as a focus for fundraising across the company. I'm really keen that Scotland raises as much money as we can. Please do help with any of the following activities;
1) Would you be kind enough to sponsor me by visiting https://www.bmycharity.com/V2/dickwall or see the form that Fiona has at her desk
2) If you have to deal with suppliers please do ask them for a supporting contribution to the charities. We can offer a logo on the team flag, a mere £500, or indeed I will commit to a personalised photo of one of the team wearing a sponsor's T-shirt for a photo at the buddhist shrine at the base camp.
3) If you are doing any races or other events how about getting sponsored by your friends and family?
