Dead Men Walking

In order to allow Guild members to complete this quest and gain some decent NR gear from the reward we will be doing this Quest prior to the next AQ40 raid which will be on Sunday 17th September.

If you wish to book a slot to complete this quest then you should:

• Vote in this thread to confirm yo will be attending this part of the raid
• Be in Cenarion Hold at 19.10 server time for raid invites (we will not wait for people to travel from IF etc).

We intend the raid to not delay the main RG1 raid that evening, so please be there and do not be late.  The RG1 raid will be immediately after the Calling.

This raid is open to Guardians (quest priority), then Defenders (quest priority), then Soldiers (quest priority).  Alts will only be allowed into the raid if there is space and classs balance.  Once the Calling is completed all RG1 members should head towards AQ40 - invites to the RG1 raid will take place whilst you ride to the Temple entrance.

Actually I didn't put one in there as RG1 will be there at that time.  Therefore I was planning to swap some RG1 who had completed the quest with those who responded above as needing to do it (after adjusting for alts of course), but that shoudl allow us a whole 40 person raid group to do this quickly and efficiently.

But yes, starting with the premise that you have RG1 there and ready and THEN swap out people for the calling fair enough, but nothing up there says you will be using RG1 as a base, just that it will be prior to the rg1 aq40 raid and not delaying said raid :P. So I was working from the belief that you were organising an official raid of people who needed the quest on some character (probably fewer than 40 people) and was offering my services, but if yer gonna get catty I'll take my ball and go home *sulks*

I also need it done, and like a few others here as well, I also need to do the pre-quests.

I've looked a bit around on Thottbot (http://www.thottbot.com/?qu=8314), and as far as I've been able to see, this is the following I have to do:

• Get the quest "Dearest Natalia" from Commander Mar'alith in Cenarion Hold.
• Go to Bronzebeard Encampment and talk with the two dwarves Frankal Stonebridge and Rutgar Glyphshaper (don't forget to pet the monkey?), which will complete "Dearest Natalia".
• Pick up the two quests "Breaking the Code" and "Glyph Chasing" from the dwarves.
• Return to Commander Mar'alith in Cenarion hold to turn in "Dearest Natalia", and get the new quest "Into the Maw of Madness".
• The three quests you now have are all completed by going into the three hivesof Silithus (Hive'Ashi, Hive'Zora and Hive'Regal).
• When done, turn in "Into the Mawof Madness" to Mar'alith in Cenarion Hold, and the two other quests to the two dwarves in Bronzebeard Encampent.
• Finally, you'll get the quest "Unraveling the Mystery" from one of the dwarves, which you'll have to go and turn in to Geologist Larksbane in Cenarion Hold, which in turn should give "The Calling"

Could some of you folks that have done this confirm that this is the way  to go?  I just have to try and get it done sometimes before Sunday (don't know when I will have time, I'll just have to see) :smile:
Also, I read that it was reccomended with a 5-man party for ease, but you should have much problem doing the quest in a skilled 2-3 man party either?  Is that about correct to?

Hey, you wrote that while I was typing my post - I guess we are at the same point in the quest line than :biggrin:
The only possibilities I see for myself to be able to do the first quests, will have to be either late Friday evening (night), or late Saturday evening (night).
Early/mid-day Saturday or Sunday might also be a posibilitie, but the chances aren't too got I'll make that...  Darn school <_<

Thanks alot to Siffredi, Wierd, Jemeny and Mjolner for helping with teh prequests, much appreciated and can now at the point where I can do the Calling :D

Yes, Threbrilith, I believe those are the quests needed. I don't think Maw of Madness is required, but you might as well do it, since u will go to the same place for one of the glyphs..

I've now finished all the pre-quests (thanks to Pent that joined me on those with Arrowob :thumbsup2:), and am ready to do The Calling!

Since we didn't finish BWL on Thursday (due to that bloody lag <_<), I assume we will finish that first, and do The Calling after we've done there on our way to AQ40?
Can some officer confirm this or something?
