I've started to put together a series of webpages so we can see the stats for each race after it's finished.
I've put an example of the stats format up on the web. Just follow the link from the LfS Server Status page. Be sure to checkout the 'Lap Timings' link from the 'Extended race statistics' page.

Which part?
Lap speeds, Races won, lost.
Nice one oldie. :yahoo:
I'm not sure if the project is finished but it's a great little time waster! I once, somewhere, stated that I thought it would be a good idea to be able to see what people's setups were. i.e. auto this and auto that, wheel, clutch, shifter etc. Well LFS Stats goes a little way along that road by showing who is using auto clutch, auto gears, auto throttle cut, auto blip, brake help and throttle help. All this is in addition to a whole raft of stats you wouldn't believe could/would be generated by a game that is still under developement! Very, very interesting. If you haven't got it bookmarked, do so. http://87.240.138.20/lfs/index.php

Not quite. The 'Lap Times' link is causing problems <_<
I'm struggling with the lap times on that stats version so I'm playing with a new one.
Here's an example of the output (http://87.240.138.20/lfs2/index.php?qfile=&rfile=race.xml&cssfile=).
Looks really fine. I do like a bit of colour about the place. :)
The stats appear to be working really well now. Great work Oldster. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Nope. They were still broke but ....
I've fixed the buggers. :yahoo:  :yahoo:
Blooming marvelous, good job mate
Its a small thing but I especially like the emoteicon (Smilie) holding the cup for the winner on the (now working :thumb:) lap chart at the bottom.
Cheers for the graft put in getting this baby to run.
Deetz
The industrious Gai-Luron has taken it upon himself to fix the stats tool that broke with the introduction of the new InSim4 structure.
As there could still be changes they're really just for testing at the moment so I've got them running on our server and I'll check out the output after tonight's races.
Watch this space ...
fingers crossed. :)
Well done, only the graphs missing.
Have we been at it that long though? (http://www.finnglish.co.uk/Stuff/stats.jpg)

Lots of little things to sort out still.
I love the 'who caused the most yellow flags' section :D
13! No wonder the air was blue. :roflmao:
Is that the sound of hammering, spannering and general tinkering I hear? I just noticed the stats webpage is absent. :)
On the suject of our own stats, bloody good job Old-one! :thumbsupsmileyanim: (It's not often I use the double thumbs up smiley!)
The one graphic missing, my fave, is the Race progress chart. Presumably that's on the production line. :)

Hmmm. A missing graph eh? Seems to have broken with a recent release.
BTW - the Lap by Lap chart is linked to from the menu at the top of the page.
"Race progress chart" ... "Lap by Lap chart"
Am I drunk but, where on earth you have seen such charts?
That page is for team statistics, not for individual races, unless I'm complete mistaken. :g:
Or are you thinking about the LFSStats. This is TeamStats.

Nope. Go to the dMr Server status (link in side bar) and at the bottom of the page is a list of race results. It'll keep you entertained for hours. :D
Okeeey.
..but what does that got to do with Team Stats?
That is indeed LFSStat not TeamStats
My point being that is bit off topic as this was Team Stats thread. That's why I thought you were talking about Team Stats at first.
Ok, I just shut up now

No need to shut up. Well spotted I say. After all we want to have a nice tidy forum eh? :)
I'd like to get the LFSStat running again on our server. Could it be possible Oldbloke? I think you mentioned there were some problems with the earlier versions. What were they?
The current version is 2.0 and I think we had 0.9 something. Is this version without the problems of the earlier version?
LFS Stats is born again:

There's a link to the newest version.
