BF2 is installed and up running.  I've also downloaded the 1.4 patch, and in addition I've also downloaded the 0.332 version of PRMM (AAS mod didn't need any extra downloads, as far as I could tell).  Should that be all I need in order to be ready for next weekend's lan?

That sticky I found with patch/version information seemed a bit outdated, so I just thought I should check :)
And 87.240.138.22:16567 87.240.138.22:16568 are still the servers in use, right?

And btw: I ended up registering an account with the name -=[dMw]=-Threb :smile:

You also need the Point of Existence mod for bf2 - it is a rather big download though:

Edit: You're right, AAS is serverside only.

Maybe someone going to the LAN has the PoE install files still, if that'd help you not have to download them.

I'm downloading it now - downloaded the full PRMM client version earlier today (and that was about 900MB ), and that only took me about 1 hour, so I guess this one won't take too long either.

But in case anyone else should need it for the lan: I'm bringing both the 1.4 patch, the PRMM mod and the PoE mod on an extern HD - would take quite some time to download it on the 1MBit inet connection we've been promised :P

Edit: wasn't even close to that many seeds on the PoE torrent as I had on PRMM, so it's going quite much slower... but it's getting down - about 3 hours remaning now only :)

I'm not going to have time to dlownload them either before the LAN so if those of you who have them could bring copies that would be brilliant.

I'll bring along a few 2gb usb keys so ppl can transfer them easily.

Due to the issues described in [post=153793]this post[/post], I didn't manage do download the whole PoE mod, so I hope somebody else could bring that one at least :smile:
The 1.4 patch and the PRMM mod I got safely over to an external HD, so they are coming along with me.

I'll bring for BF2:
-PRMM-mod;
-1.4 Patch;
-PoE.
This because I might have to install them during the LAN.
