We're into the home straight .....
Not long now
:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
yup. i better start updating stuff
I need to give the guys who assemble my computer a call...Will do it right now...
Still need to sort some travellingtimes though...To busy at work...
EDIT: Computer is being assembled with only a 80GB C:\-drive for now as the 300GB D:\-drive isn't there yet. I'll receive the D:\-drive and Shuttlebag lateron.
Anyway: Looks like I'll be bringing my own Shuttle this time (nocks on wood "in case" nothing goes wrong).
I hope they can assemble it pretty quick so I can install BF2 and CounterStrike and such.
I better start to, at least think about planning stuff  :ninja:
:yahoo: four more sleeps :yahoo:
what sleep
4 more drinking sessions at home before the drinking sessions with u guys...
had to edit in drinking sessions as the slang for urination is not alowed on these forums!
To quote the Pointer Sisters:
"I'm So Excited" :yahoo:
Don't get too excited, we have a dangerous rendezvous for extraction to perform. Pop blue smoke when you're in the clear.
*running down to the shed to find my blue smoke grenades* :ninja:
But actually, all that excitement has suddenly been changed with some major heebie-jeebies...
Yesterday while playing WoW, I suddenly startet to get freezes mid-game. My screen looked kinda like this, which is not a good sign

At first I thought (hoped...) that it was something wrong with WoW. I did some debugging yesterday, but couldn't find anything special. Today at school my laptop worked all fine, but now when I came home and booted, it looked like this:

That is NOT GOOD at all
As we speak, I'm taking backup of all my important data. This mostly seems to be some memory bug with my gfx card, and if that's the case it won't be much use bringing my laptop over to the lan.
After the backup is done, I'm gonna try and take out first one, and than the other of my RAM chips, just to rule out that it's a main memory error... but anyhow, it doesn't look good
And if all hell breaks loose, I would be very happy if somebody manage to scramble together some kind of emergency computer I could use at the lan... But I'll give you some more info after I've tried a couple of things
Threb, let me know if it decides not to work.
Otherwise post on the parts needed section for the LAN.
Try re installing the graphics drivers and maybe even trying a seperate monitor. That shot of the windows XP starting up is similar to one I got when the graphics card was faulty (on a new system).

Looks like a graphics card that got a bit hot or failed.
if the sh!t really hits the fan then i may be able to "borrow" a laptop for use at the lan, its not very good tho.
My work laptop won't be in use, especially for work purposes.
It's a centrino duo, with 945 Chipset graphics:doh:
certainly better than mine, but i may well bring it just to run my external hard drive from so i dont get bad ping when other things are going on.

What happens if you move the laptop somewhere else? You see, there are speakers and a wireless router right next to your screen - could simply be interference (even a mobile phone can cause this sometimes)
Hey it's cheap to try and it might work :)
