I'm not sure why the previous topic got locked but here's some new info about BF2142:

I know there's a bit of arguing because of the stats and so but this looks allright:

I signed up for the beta of 2142 and received a key to download and install the beta.

based on my experiences with it they haven't bothered their tangoes to fix any of the bugs from BF2 and it's basically BF2 in shiny suits. I will NOT be buying it once released.

i didnt bother buying bf2, and the bf i have is copied. but le be buying this one, the only reason is futuristic combat ^_^ not to mention i get a pre order only gun from gameplay :D

I won a copy. I'd surely have bought it anyway, for much the same reason as Gorion, but it might've taken me a while to get round to it as right now my PC spec is close to minimum.

ques: when you play singleplayer with bots, dont you earn medals?

cos i had like 100+ kills with support class in 1 round, i earned a gold medal.. but it didnt get saved..

pssst, Gorion -- get yourself on 204.13.5.8:16567 to earn medals you can keep. Forget these 2142 hating losers. :P

Just join a squad with a few TG people in and you'll get some great teamwork too. Also, if you see Silverfish on there, say howdy because that's me ;)
