pffft. You wanna see what our main database server is.

Intel STL2 (http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/stl2/) in a SC5000 (http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/chassis/SC5000/) chassis 1GB RAM 1 x 933mhz PIII
Adaptec 3200S (http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/product/proddetail.html?sess=no&prodkey=ASR-3200S&cat=%2fTechnology%2fRAID%2fAdditional+RAID+Products) Ultra3 Dual Channel RAID card with 128MB cache and battery backup, connected to two Hot-swap hard drive bays, supporting ten 1" SCSI hot-swap drives

Six 18GB 10,000 RPM Ultra2 SCSI drives in RAID 1 mirrored configuration.

All housed in a nice air conditioned room at 20degC  :D Great in the summer! Always find something to tweak when it's really hot.
