Yea this Range Attack Power but what does AP(Attack Power) give you, the same?

+ attack power gives you exactly that + attack power to ranged/melee, unless it says + ranged attack power (most guns/bows now have this), or + melee attack power (BOM etc)

Okay - but this still not give me the answer I am seeking.

Is 1 AP(Attack Power) = 1 agi?

Me confused as to what you mean?

1 agi = 2 RAP, as tan said, untill BC at which time 1 agi = 1 RAP

If you mean if 2 RAP would give same DPS bonus as 1 AGI, then no, since you also lose the bit of crit the 1 agi gives.

Not sure how much it is for a hunter, but for a rogue i think 28 AP is the same as 14 AGI (and we get 1 MAP for every point of agi). the lack of 14 AP gets made up by the half % crit a rogue gains from the agi.

As far as i know Agility means AP/Criticial ch./Dodge etc. ratios changes for every class though but 1 agi.=1AP not same as 1AP=1 Agi.
as bastet mentioned AP only effects range/melee dmg but agi. effects dmg +(dodge/critical/armor etc)
Thats all i know about it but in BC hunters will rock

There is to kind of power.

1. Range attack power.
2. Attack power.

When you have a weapon with +12 attack power(for example a sword) is that = 12 api?

If you have a weapon with +12 attackpower its equal to 12 strength and 6 agility, for a hunter that is.

From http://www.wowwiki.com/Hunters:
Quote from: wowwiki10 Agility is equal to:
+20 Range AP
+10 Melee AP
+20 AC
+4 Range Damage

For hunters:
1 (melee) AP = 1 agi or 1 str
1 RAP = 0.5 agi
