wee had a issue this raid, where foxtra / brannar dident show up, 3h and 40 min after the raid kick off he wispers me if wee needed some help in aq20
i asked him why he dident show up, and his anserw was i got busy grinding on his warrior..
what do wee do about this issue?!?
some kind of punishment?
such as no raids for u in the next 2 raids or what.

he was the only palladin that was signed up, and dident show up so no palladins in this raid, wee got the wispers from Lunares and Ravenn and il say thx for the offers but i hade a hope open for a palladin..
Lets not start with punishment. and just talk to people. and headhunt those that sign up but dont show up... and make em understand there is apoint why we have a signup system?
Personally i would say talk to them the first time with a warning explaining it. 2nd time still a warning. 3rd time they have gone to far and need somekind of punishmend like a 2 week ban from the raids.
It it happens again well reset their ap in aq20 and in zg see them as neutral rep lvl again. (might be a lot of work but most ppl will get the point after warning 1).
This is ofc if they do not have a good reason.

yeah well wee can make a sticky post and type the names down, and type the amount of warnings
that way wee can have a page where wee can se who has got a warning and what lvl of warning.
and ofc writhe down the reason why thos player has got the warning, now it feals like a "kindergarden" fealing but im pretty shure it will help out
It mostly are only a few ppl who are doing this. If they make it o far that they get punished in a way that ppl see you mean it then the rest will normally do better by far.

Personaly I think foxtra isn't much dedicated and doesn't feel any obligation what so ever when raiding. Last wednesday he joined the SoG-One MC run and when AFK for 6 times or so. Then between the mobs Geddon and Shazzrha he came back and said, I need to go AFK for 10min....going to take a bath... (shower he mend)..... We commanders talked about it and I told him that it wasn''t allowed. I couldn't make him clear that this kind of behavior isn't normal. He was like "A common m8, I'll make it short".
Now that I read that he did this I would say he is a very imature player and I say when I am seeing him this behavior doing again I'll sure skip him in my approval list....We count on him when he sign in, he count on it he is in the raid when signing in...to bad you had your chance!!!

I say try and type those names down, or remember them, does it happen more then once, then take a short talk with them and a little warning, doesent that change anything then start skipping that person in approvals.
We can't and WONT hold a entire raid back just because 1 person needs to "take a bath" or "just kill the last mob and relog". No way, if you arent there when invites starts without letting a commander know why you arent there.. TO BAD! end of discussion, find a replacement and hurry to carry on.
If you do this make an announcement first to ppl remind what can and will happen if they act like this. If you are strict about it at the start then it will be a lot better a bit further on timewise.

Totaly agree on that Luna, you need to inform people before taking the action. Otherwise it isn't fair, on the other hand we all know the rull about raiding.....But I still agree on you Luna.
Also all commanders should know about this. We all (4 of us) have to agree on this before taking this action. That way when people start asking question you will not be surprised by the act.
such as if u dont show up @ 19:15 @ the entrance your spot WILL be given away???
Claw that is a nice start but a lot of times you barely have enough ppl there so then giving the spot away doesnt rly help.

As I see you you strugling through the attendance, this is the very same Kregeron, Lunars and Menedil went through. And I have experienced that two or three people didn't show up, this gives a major inbalance to the raid. Now you see the difficulty to set up a raid.......raiding isn't about tactics, raiding is all about humans..... :smile:
This is 1 of the greater challenges of the 20 man, you never have the same ppl or a great amount of the same ppl. Which means you need to adapt. But learn where the boundaries are about imbalance that is doable and imbalance that only turns out into a reapir bill run. Also if you have ppl on alts in say BG at 19:15 and they signed up asl them in caps in guildchat why the bleep they are still in BG. That normally helps if they say i will be there after this BG kick em from the raid if the raiud cannot continue say to the other ppl in the raid something like we are sorry we cannot continue due to ppl cannot be arsed to leave their BG. That normally works wonders.

There BG issue was very common, people entering BG's and still there at 19:15 and when you whisper them to relog they say just 5 more mins...
When they did that too me i normally told em: You got 1 min to relog else your spots goes to someone else kkthx
Cause you really cant be arsed to make a raid wait just cause someone needs to pvp a lil bit more...
And for the people not showing up, the thing lunaa told that we used worked good... first warning generally made people think twice before they "forgot" to show up....
what i always did was to give ppl till 19:30 to be on the right char and available for invites, and then give their spot away.
why the hell a lot ppl who are approved to raid that night cant turn up on time at the entrance is beyond me.
