Title: RG2 - What is going on?
Post by: DonnieKingo on October 24, 2006, 10:31:58 PM
Hi all

I have to get this off my chest - because I think that the situation with RG2 is getting out of hand.

Okay, we have some problems in BWL. I don’t know what is causing it, but I think a series of MC runs could improve on the situation – if it is a gear-based problem that is.
We just have to take it as it comes – I guess.

But what really bugs me is that – somewhere along the line – it has become acceptable that defenders leave the raid when BWL is called and MC is the alternative. The same goes when Ony is up.

This night – we had a full BWL raid – but when the raid was called a lot of members suddenly had to leave…just like that. I don’t know what the reasons for that were, but I don’t know why it is acceptable?

If it is a raidnight and you are a Defender – you just have to take what comes your way – being BWL or MC it doesn’t matter – you go. The sudden lack of members caused a cancellation of MC as well – and suddenly the alternative was a 20-man ZG….

What’s wrong with this picture?

If I offended some one – I’m sorry – but I just find it too frustrating to let it pass without a comment.

Feel with you m8......

This counts very everybody, old and new members as defender. Being a defender doesn't mean, "he I don't need/want to go there let's call it a day for me.....".

As posted by DarkAngel, let's get a new group up and running...

I realy hate it when people seeing this game as Pac Man....oh we can stop the game anytime we want....a very immature way of playing this game. You need to keep up attendance and when you are in the raid you STAY UNTILL RAID IS CALLED....... You simply cannot progress with people that don't want to put effort in it......we need all 40 on the raid to succeed....... slow progress is part of the learning curve.....

A rule like, if you leave before raid is called, you will be ban to/in next raid will maybe show up some day.....

I will say something to this post about the thing that people are leaving RG2 to "more advanced guilds, meaning they are further ahead".
Loads of guilds are in same positions as RG2 now (believe I know), just when you get the group going , some people leave and you have to start MC again to gear up and such things. If we want to move forward we need to stick together, so what if we wipe 2 times on razorgore, it will go down on the 3 try!
SO let's get going and get BWL on farm before TBC :boxing:
We can do it and you all know it!

Just few thoughts... :flirty:

That's how I see it....I stick with you..... We ARE able to get BWL on farm status before TBC comes out...... due to delay ofcourse...But it would be great....

Well... There is this little problem that Razergore do not go down on the 3rd try and neither does Vael atm.

As in other post were going back to MC to get the raid geared up again due to so many new people and try to get everyone to know each other. Then and only then will we think about BWL. The marshalls are discussing it in our private forums and will find out what is best for us and our raid group.

If ppl allready leave cause you cant kill razorgore fast then i would like to ppl to think what can be done about it instead of leaving.
RG1 (sorry for bringing this up) have wiped 100 of times on razorgore until we got him down. We had the same for firemaw and nefarius. Atm we are working on twin emps and it will take some time also.
BUT if you get them down after a long hard period of learning the encounter the feeling you have is immense. Then loot doesnt matter its the special feeling you get (most ppl know what i am talking about). Also if you wipe see it as a way to become better as a group. IF that doesnt work, get better gear (which seems to be the problem here). If you do not want to help other ppl to gear up then ask yourself can you solo razorgore? No you cant atm because its a TEAM effort and you need a TEAM to do it. Hence other TEAM members also need some upgrade from the tier0. This might sound stupid to ppl who have been in RG2 from the start and again need to do MC to gear others up. The only thing i can say to you is hold tight it will become better even if it looks very dark.

Just some rambling of me here.

Hi

Dont all get drame queens here. This is not as caoutic as some may put it.

Remember last nites raid we had 3 very good attemts at razor. We still got all our tanks from that raid and all our priest (k some of them where alts but still in our guild). We lost 2 mages but that should be replacable, one hunter (sorry hunters but there are a lot of your kind. Because of the hunter numbers are the reason why my old main randalthor (hunter) needed to be freshen up with a dorf priest. We lost a pala. That must be our most steady class in rg2s history.
So to sum up: With a litle more effort in mc (for gear and teamwork tacs) we are still able to do good attemts at razor if that are what our leaders desides to do.

See you in game

To clear things up a bit - im not trying to be a drama queen - i just got so annoyed last night after 2 raids got called - and frustrated because people left when BWL got called - it was not even half past ten.

But it is very nice to see that it has been decided to back to MC for some team-training :)

So lets get RG2 geared up and get our acts back together and prove to our selves that we can do this - both MC and BWL! :)

This is the thing what everything is all about in this game in my honest opinion!
When my last guild started ZG we wiped on bat for a long time, and finaly after many different tactics and things we got her down the feeling was so amazing that I was yelling here in my room :D Also same feeling with bosses that you really need to do to get it down, I my self doesn't like to just run through instances with a guild that farms the place. It is nicer to venture throuh it and try own tactics and while doing it having some fun!
Because at the end of the day this is just a game :)

Yes it is just a game but the time you spend on it is real.
