Title: Pvp/Talents in patch 1.13 (or 2.0)

Now down the bottom of the post is this paragraph, apprently from a blizz poster, notice the SPOOKtacular in the end....could they be hinting that the patch is coming on wednesday??? or is he just being a dick...

I'm not sure of what patch number is being used, so to cut out any confusion it's "the patch before the expansion with a whole bunch of stuff in it". As far as I'm aware there will be a separate "bridging patch" (containing expansion weapons, armor, items, race models, etc. that everyone will be able to see) closer to the release of the expansion. I could very well be wrong and they could be merged, but we will indeed be releasing a content patch before the release of the expansion with a bunch of goodies in it. It's going to be SPOOKtacular!

I think this patch will be mid November - beginning of December, they still need to refine the new talents so it will take some more time IMO...

yea for every class but the hunters as they are more redone than anyother class.
We wont be able to keep up the DPS as we do today if they do it like this, aimed shot restarts autoshot timers and that will screw with our shot rotations unless we have the new spells available like Steady shot but thats only obtainable at lvl 66.
So our only use in insances untill TBC will be tranq shot or possibly the buffed pet.

I would be more scared about the new spell coefficents...all healers now rely on downranking to heal in a more mana efficient way, if they implement the new coefficents in the patch we will need some time to get used to that... :g:

Aye, theres a lot to get used to for hunters and most spellcasters, but they will, and till then, arcane shot is getting a big boost to compensate for lack of aimed shot right?
 
Also, thread moved cause it now covers more then just pvp

No, arcane shot is just fixed to be of more use, steady shot is the replacement of aimed, and that like i said before, aint available untill lvl 66.

Well, less dmg is no good, but i suppose we will survive, like the less effective downranking on healing, it takes getting used too, but it aint gonne kill nobody, well cept mobs ofc :narnar:

Yes, you heard right. For the first time ever we will be switching on the Character Copy functionality; Character Templates will be disabled for the PTRs.
