The people with Mani Admin access, have that access to keep Joe public in order on Boomer. At present we cannot restrict the use of the Mani Admin access to just Boomer but it should not be used on Meathook unless you want to add/remove bots and no senior admins are on the server.

what exactlly are the mani admin rights?
I was trying to kick a disruptive (tk/tw) player over the weekend, it wouldnt let me. so i just slayed him at the start of each round till he left
(admining sheepeh style! find ways round problems)

You should be able to kick people but then again I should be able to slay them and although it comes up with the message the person doesn't get slayed:blink:
It looks like there are still a few bugs in the Mani program to sort out.

so, with the mani admin thing - does it come up with a message if you're not allowed to use certain commands or does it just not respond? I ask because I had a quick browse in the mani admin menu and although it let me see a list of weapons to restrict it wouldn't do anything if I hit the number-options for player management and fun player management? it could be my pc of course...I cannot use the standard radio command menuss though I suspected that might be because they had been disabled?

There are restrictions on the Mani Admin profile that the Charlies have for Boomer. You can perform the following functions:
Admin Chat
Kick
Slay
Use the Rcon menu to add/remove bots.
I find it both quite amusing and easy to idnetify for the other admins if someone is being an idot. wait for them to buy guns and slaythem, /repeate process every round, they soom get ****ed off and leave

I noticed this to, its to bad.:sad:
it's probably something to do with the two servers being split and us not having mani admin quite configured the way we want - it's nothing more than that - we still trust you to change maps safely but it'll need looked at and sorted out for you, that's all :)

As mentioned by BB we now have seperate Mani configurations for Boomer and MeatHook.
You should be able to change maps again on Boomer and you can also make non-permanent bans. Please only use the ban as a last resort for persistant offenders and don't change the map without asking first :flirty:.
As Meathook is used mainly during organised sessions and all the players are TCS trained, non-admins will not have mani access.

bind a key to "admin" press it and see what happens.

ADMIN ONLY is done by using the teamchat key and starting the sentence with @ and a space, eg, "@ Whitey is a n00b!" without the quotes would send to admins only.
If you follow the above but press the chat to all key instead of team chat then it goes out as an admin message to all.

There are more commands. Please read this (http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com/mani_admin_plugin/documentation/index.php) for everything you could ever want to know about Mani. Check under Admin Commands. Please remember you have a restricted profile and are not able to perform a lot of the available commands.
