Depending on the number of players who want to play we might need 2 divisions with each division split in to several team.

5)#deadmen on quakenet is used as a meeting place for all the players and each team opens up its own room for team members to discuss taccies etc

6)-THE PRIZE
Your team and teammates will be recorded in the eternaly -=[dMw]=-Hall of Fame and therefor will have respect from the whole -=[dMw]=-Community...
Remember: First round of beer is on you and your team!

More suggestions are allways welcome as this is the first time I'm aranging a Tournament (Suggestions are welcome but might not be used).

I will wait until you've decided on a date for the match as I probably wouldn't manage anything after the 21st/22nd. I'm sure there is an he_ map that is all ice and snow. he_castle perhaps. :)

the fy maps are out as they have weapons scattered around and are very small (should have known that ).

I had a quick game of cs_xmas, lots of small passage ways and easy to get lost.  I think de_iceberg could be good due to it's size and it's easy to learn.

Just let me know Whitey, I just added a few as suggestions. All are welcome.
I don't like Office that much as it's played allready loads and for a tournament we prefer something new.

Yep, fy maps are not for the tournie. IMHO, not good for anything at all but that's me.

There is an EXTENDED version of OFFICE (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/counterstrikesource/download.html?sid=6134984), maybe we can use it? This way ppl know the basics, but there are some tweaks. I only played it once so I leave the judgement for you experts :-)

I think we have that extended version of Office allready on our publicserver. Might worth a look.

Anymore suggestions on date?
Otherwise I'll start poll later today.

BTW, I think we should keep it to maps that have those mini-maps on the left-up corner, as Whitey once suggested.

After Whitey's reply I reckon de_iceberg and the snowy version of de_nuke (I believe there's a snowy version aswell for Source or was that only for CZ?)

The tournament will start 13.00 UKtime.
We're still discussing the match-setup so we'll get back after that for more info.
